DescriptionThe whole story▼
The surround around the ignition lock. A small part, and the one that betrays a motorcycle's age faster than anything else on it, because a key finding a barrel in the dark misses more often than it hits.
Key Features
- Ignition lock surround for the 2026 chassis
- Sits over the original; the lock and immobiliser are untouched
- Autoclave-cured carbon, six versions
- Panigale V4 R, 2026
Scratches Land Somewhere Better
Over a few thousand insertions the ring around a keyhole collects fine marks in a pattern nothing else on a motorcycle produces, and they cannot be polished out because the damage is in the coating rather than on it. Carbon does not prevent them. What changes is that they land on a dark woven surface where they barely register, and that the part costs little enough to replace when it finally does look tired.
Two fasteners and a few minutes. No wiring, nothing to disconnect, and the key never leaves the original barrel.
On a motorcycle built in small numbers, condition is a large part of what it is worth later. This is one of the few wear points an owner can simply replace rather than live with, and it costs less than a tank of fuel.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Panigale V4 R, 2026, and the 2025 and 2026 Panigale V4 and V4 S.
Road Approval
Fullsix documents no road-traffic approval for the surround, and we claim none.
