DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Arrow 71212CKZ Competition full exhaust system represents the pinnacle of Italian exhaust craftsmanship — a race-bred titanium assembly conceived from first principles for the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R SC82. Where production exhausts compromise between road compliance and outright performance, this system makes no such concession: every component, from the titanium headers to the carbon end cap, is chosen for its contribution to power, weight saving and thermal management at race pace.
Key Features
- Full titanium construction — headers and silencer body crafted from titanium for extreme heat resistance, longevity and a dramatic reduction in unsprung and total system weight.
- Complete system weight of just 5.00 kg, delivering a measurable improvement in handling agility and power-to-weight ratio over the stock unit.
- Carbon end cap adds structural rigidity while echoing the visual language of a factory race machine.
- Stainless steel internals ensure the baffling and core components withstand prolonged exposure to high exhaust temperatures without degradation.
- Removable dB killer included, allowing straightforward noise adjustment — remove it entirely for unrestricted track use or refit when circuit regulations demand a sound limit.
- Silencer dimensions of 350 mm length with a 60 mm inlet and 58 mm outlet, engineered for optimised gas flow on the SC82 platform.
Design, Finish and Heritage
Arrow has been a fixture in MotoGP and World Superbike paddocks for decades, and the Competition range distils that heritage into a catalogue product any privateer or club racer can bolt directly to their machine. The raw titanium finish develops a characteristic heat-blued patina with use — an aesthetic that is entirely functional in origin, not decorative, and one that marks out a serious race tool from a cosmetic aftermarket piece. Paired with the carbon fibre end cap, the visual result is purposeful and cohesive, the kind of finish you find on genuine homologation specials rather than showroom replicas.
The system is designed around Arrow's competition mapping data for the CBR 1000 RR-R, and a custom ECU remap is strongly recommended to realise the full performance gain. With the dB killer removed, throttle response sharpens noticeably across the mid-range and top end, translating directly into faster corner exits and more confident drive onto straights.
Race Use Notice
The Arrow 71212CKZ is homologated for race use only. It carries no road-use type approval and must not be used on public roads. Always verify that the sound level, with or without the dB killer fitted, complies with the noise regulations of your specific circuit or series before competing.
Fitment and Compatibility
This complete exhaust system is developed and fitment-tested exclusively for the following model:
- Honda CBR 1000 RR-R SC82 — model years 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023
The system replaces the full OEM exhaust assembly from the headers back. A dedicated ECU remap or Power Commander map is strongly recommended following installation to optimise fuelling across the rev range.
