DescriptionThe whole story▼

Ceramic pads are a niche even in racing, but for teams that like to try every option, Accossato offers one for the Suzuki GSR750. AGPA94 in the ZXC ceramic racing mixture is the right-hand front pad for the GSR750 from 2011 to 2016. It is made for the circuit, where it can be tested session by session against other pads and kept or dropped depending on what the rider reports and what the lap times say.

Key Features

  • Right front caliper pads for the Suzuki GSR750, 2011 to 2016
  • ZXC ceramic racing compound, SKU AGPA94ZXC
  • Ceramic mixture for racing, per Accossato
  • For back-to-back tests at the circuit
  • Pair with AGPA95 on the left caliper
  • Rear pad: AGPP88
  • Keep a clean workspace when fitting
  • No ABE held; competition only

Construction and Material Quality

According to Accossato, ZXC is a ceramic compound that is ideal for racing. It is the most specialised mixture on this plate. Accossato's general claims of slow wear, limited heat and strong stopping power apply here too.

Back-to-Back at the Circuit

A back-to-back test is the simplest way to judge a new pad on the GSR750. Ride one session on the pads you know, swap to ZXC during the break and ride the next session on the same tyres and settings. Ask the rider to describe the bite, the feel while releasing and whether the lever travel changes when the pads are hot. Combine that with lap times and sector splits. When fitting, work on a clean bench, keep brake cleaner away from the tyres and make sure the pads sit correctly in the caliper before refitting it. Pump the lever firmly before the bike leaves the garage.

Always use the same compound on both front calipers so the front brake stays balanced. If the ceramic set is kept, note the circuit and conditions where it worked, since a result on one track does not automatically carry over to the next venue on the calendar.

Fitment and Compatibility

On the GSR750 the right-hand caliper takes AGPA94 and the left-hand one AGPA95. Accossato lists the GSR 750 from 2011 to 2016, with AGPP88 at the rear. The right plate is also available as Organic, Sintered, EV1 and EV2.

Road Approval

Neither an ABE nor a German test report exists for AGPA94ZXC in our records, so it is sold for motorsport.
