DescriptionThe whole story▼

For the Zero S of 2015 to 2017, Accossato offers the AGPA92 front pad in Sintered (ST) compound. This version is for owners who do not store their electric naked bike when the season ends. Rainy spring mornings, foggy autumn evenings and chilly winter commutes all call for a pad whose bite stays the same regardless of the thermometer, and that is the core idea behind Accossato's sintered mix.

Key Features

  • AGPA92 front pads for the Zero S 2015-2017
  • Covers ZF9.4, ZF12.5, ZF9.8 and ZF13.0 per Accossato
  • Sintered (ST) mixture
  • Accossato states: stable grip in both heat and cold
  • Good hold on wet tarmac
  • Also made in OR, EV1, EV2 and ZXC
  • Two pads per box

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes its sintered pads as keeping a high and constant grip level at high and low temperatures, and gripping well in the wet. For a bike ridden twelve months a year, that is the key quality. The company also aims to keep heat under control, which limits fading if the brakes are used hard on a long downhill, and it builds its pads to wear slowly, a benefit for high-mileage commuters.

Twelve Months on an Electric Naked Bike

Electric bikes are well suited to year-round riding: no cold starts, no choke, no oil to warm up. The brakes are the part that still notices the season. On a frosty morning a pad can feel different from the same pad on a summer afternoon, and a sintered compound is designed to narrow that gap. On the Zero S, that means the same pressure at the lever produces the same result in January and in July. Winter roads bring salt and grit, so rinse the front caliper after wet rides and check that the pistons slide freely before the spring.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA92 for the front of the Zero S versions ZF9.4 and ZF12.5 from 2015, plus ZF9.8 and ZF13.0 from 2016 to 2017. For the 2024 S ZF14.4 the correct front pad is AGPA96. The rear of the S uses AGPP91. Fit the pair together and give the sintered set a handful of moderate stops before relying on full stopping power.

Road Approval

No test certificate or German ABE is on file for this pad, so it is intended for motorsport and competition.

Scope of Delivery

Two sintered front pads in the box, enough for one caliper.
