DescriptionThe whole story▼

A Diavel draws attention wherever it is parked. Its long, low shape and broad rear tyre bring people over, and sooner or later someone asks whether they may sit on it for a photo, or does not ask at all. Anyone climbing onto a bike that rests on its side stand pushes it further over, and if the stand foot slides, the Ducati goes down on its left side. For the Diavel of 2011 to 2018, Accossato lists the AGS200, a black clutch lever in the original form, as the replacement for that moment.

Key Features

  • Replacement clutch lever, original form, for the Ducati Diavel
  • 2011 to 2018 on Accossato's list
  • Black version (silver: AGS199)
  • Fitted on the left, operates the clutch
  • Developed by Accossato for value for money
  • Accossato credits the manufacturing process with better resistance after damage or a fall
  • One lever
  • No German ABE or test mark available; racing and competition use

Construction and Material Quality

The AGS200 is the black half of the pair Accossato offers for the clutch side of the Diavel, and like its silver counterpart it is made in the shape of the original. That keeps the look of the cockpit unchanged, which matters on a bike that people stop to photograph. Accossato designed its replacement levers around value for money and says that its production method makes them more resistant after damage or impacts. There is no further technical information from the manufacturer.

Parked Where People Look

Owners of eye-catching bikes develop a few habits. Park the Diavel on firm, level ground where it can be seen but not in the middle of the flow of people, and lock the steering, since a locked bike resting securely on its stand is harder to push over. If someone asks for a photo, the friendliest answer is often yes, as long as they stand beside the bike rather than climb onto it, or you hold it while they sit. At a busy bike meet, a polite note on the seat does more than you might expect. When the bike has been knocked over anyway, lift it with care, look at the clutch lever, the mirror and the footpeg on the left, and check that the side stand and its switch still work. Fit the replacement lever with a light film of grease on the pivot, work it with the engine off and confirm that the clutch switch reacts before you start the engine.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato's list gives the AGS200 for the Diavel 1200 of 2011 to 2018. The silver AGS199 covers the same period and is also named for the Cromo, Dark and Strada versions, so look closely at the colour of your lever and compare both product photos before ordering. For the brake, the black AGD209 is listed for the same years. The AGS200 appears in our catalogue for the Monster 1200, the Multistrada 1200 and the Streetfighter 848 as well, and Accossato's CNC levers EDF099 and ESH011 are the alternative for a tuning build on the Diavel.

Road Approval

No German ABE and no test mark are documented for the AGS200, as we have no approval papers for it. We offer it for racing and competition.
