DescriptionThe whole story▼
The G 310 GS is BMW's smallest adventure bike, a single-cylinder GS introduced for 2017, and it is light enough that many owners push it rather than ride it into tight spaces: through the garden gate, down the side of the house, into a shed that was never meant for a motorcycle. Pushing is where levers get caught. A gatepost or door frame that the bars clear by a finger's width on a good day is enough to bend the brake lever on a bad one. Accossato's AGD287 is a black replacement brake lever in original form, listed for the G 310 GS from 2017 to 2023.

Construction and Material Quality
The AGD287 is a replacement lever of the original kind. It fills the gap left by the damaged part without changing the appearance of the G 310 GS, which is what most owners of an everyday bike want. Accossato developed these spares to be good value for money, and it says the way they are made gives them improved resistance after damage or a collision. The lever is black, matching Accossato's listing, and there are no further technical details from the manufacturer.
Through the Garden Gate
Pushing a motorcycle through a narrow gap is mostly about where you stand. Walk on the left of the G 310 GS with both hands on the bars, keep it leaning slightly towards you so its weight rests against your hip, and use the front brake to stop instead of trying to hold the bike with your arms. At the narrowest point, straighten the bars and watch the right-hand lever and mirror rather than the ground, because those are the parts that stick out furthest on the far side. Where the gap is tight every day, a strip of foam on the gatepost costs little and spares the paint as well as the levers. If the lever does get bent, replace it; a lever that has been bent back may look fine and still let you down later. After fitting the AGD287, test the brake light and the pressure point before the next ride.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGD287 for the G 310 GS from 2017 to 2023, for the version with ABS, and it is the only replacement brake lever given for this bike. At Inter-Pace the same lever is also listed for the G 310 R, the roadster sibling. As with any replacement part, compare the photo with the lever on your G 310 GS before ordering, and contact us if anything does not look the same.
Road Approval
There are no approval documents for the AGD287 on our side, such as a German ABE or a test mark, so we list it for racing and competition use.
