DescriptionThe whole story▼

A 300 two-stroke pulls from low revs with a relaxed kind of torque, and many owners of the TM Racing MX 300 enjoy riding it at a steady rhythm rather than flat out. For this bike, Accossato lists the AGPA29 front pad from 1998 to 2025, and the Organic compound matches that style: a soft, progressive front brake that is easy to control, runs quietly and is designed to leave the disc in good shape for a long time.

Key Features

  • AGPA29 front pad for the TM Racing MX 300 2T, 1998 to 2025
  • Organic mixture, SKU AGPA29OR
  • Accossato: lasting performance, reduced disc wear
  • Progressive feel at a steady riding rhythm
  • Suited to dry, firm ground
  • Also made as ST, STMX and EV1
  • One set for the front caliper

Construction and Material Quality

Two qualities stand behind Accossato's Organic compound: it stays effective for a long time, and it goes easy on the disc. For an MX 300 that is ridden often but not raced every week, that combination keeps maintenance costs low. Accossato's general claims of limited heat build-up and solid stopping power apply here as well.

Riding a Big Two-Stroke at Your Own Pace

Plenty of MX 300 riders are not chasing lap times. They use the bike's torque to ride smoothly, short-shift out of corners and keep a flowing line. In that kind of riding the front brake is used in measured doses rather than violent stabs. A pad that responds gently and predictably to the lever fits that rhythm. The Organic AGPA29 offers exactly this on dry, hard-packed ground, and its low disc wear keeps the front brake in good condition over several seasons. When the club track turns wet or sandy, ST and STMX on the same plate cover those conditions.

Keeping the Front Tidy

Clean the front caliper after every ride, particularly around the pistons, and check that the disc runs true. A slightly bent disc can make even a smooth pad feel uneven.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato's list gives AGPA29 for the front brake of TM Racing's MX 300 two-stroke from 1998 up to 2025, which makes it one of the longest-running applications on this plate. There is a single front caliper, so one box is enough. For the rear, AGPP106 is listed from 2005; bikes from 1998 to 2004 have no rear pad in this listing.

Road Approval

There is no ABE or approval paperwork for AGPA29OR available to us. It is sold for off-road sport and competition.

Scope of Delivery
