DescriptionThe whole story▼

The rear brake of a Suzuki RM-Z 250 sits right in the firing line: it is hit by roost, packed with mud in the ruts and sandblasted on a dry, dusty track. For bikes from 2004 to 2026 Accossato offers the AGPP106 rear pad in its Off-road sintered compound, SKU AGPP106STMX. It is the mixture for riders who race on sand and clay, ride enduro loops through streams and forest tracks, and want a rear pad built for dirt.

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato calls STMX its compound for off-road riders. It is intended for a rear brake that works in mud, sand and water rather than in clean, dry conditions. As with all Accossato pads, the aims are low wear, controlled heat and reliable stopping power.

In the Line of Fire

On a sand track the rear brake is constantly exposed to fine grit. In a deep rut, mud piles up around the caliper; at a water crossing on an enduro loop, the whole brake is submerged for a moment. STMX is made for this, and it is the natural choice for a rear pad that rarely sees clean conditions.

Riders who race in the sand or ride enduro on the RM-Z 250 will want to consider this mixture first.

After a Muddy Ride

Clean the rear caliper thoroughly with water and a brush, check the pads and look at the disc for scoring. Stones and grit can damage the disc, so inspect it regularly. When fitting a new set, push the piston back slowly and pump the pedal until you feel firm pressure. A bent pedal or a damaged disc guard can also affect the rear brake after a crash, so check both after a fall. Riders who race in deep sand often change rear pads more frequently than they expect.

Fitment and Compatibility

AGPP106 appears in Accossato's catalogue for the rear of the RM-Z 250 from 2004 to 2026. The front of the RM-Z 250 takes AGPA51. One box fits the rear caliper.

Road Approval

We have no ABE or German approval for AGPP106STMX in our records, so it is offered for off-road competition.

Scope of Delivery

Two STMX rear pads for the rear caliper.
