DescriptionThe whole story▼

On an enduro day the Yamaha WR250F spends hours in special tests, liaison stages and muddy woodland, and the front brake gets little rest. For the WR250F from 2018 to 2021, Accossato lists its AGPA110 front pad, and this listing is the Off-road sintered (STMX) compound. It is aimed at riders who enter club enduros, hare scrambles or long trail events, where mud, grit and water crossings are part of every lap and the brakes must keep working until the finish.

Key Features

  • AGPA110 front pad, STMX compound for off-road riding
  • For the Yamaha WR250F, 2018 to 2021
  • Accossato's dedicated off-road mix
  • Made for enduro events and long trail days
  • Copes with mud, grit and fords
  • One box equips the single front caliper
  • OR and ST also listed for this pad

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's description is short: STMX is its compound for off-road riders. The company knows the discipline well, having won an Enduro World Championship title in 1985. Like its road mixes, the pad is designed around low wear, limited fade and strong stopping power, here applied to dirty, abrasive conditions.

Race Day in the Woods

At a club enduro the front brake of a WR250F is used hard in the special tests, then again on steep, slippery liaison sections between them. Mud packs around the caliper and water from a ford soaks the disc a moment before a tight turn. STMX is intended for exactly that mixture. What riders want at the end of a long day is a lever that still feels the same as it did at the start, so they can keep attacking the last test instead of riding defensively.

Between Events

After an event, wash the caliper thoroughly with water, never with a pressure washer aimed straight at the seals, and let it dry. Check pad thickness: enduro days use material quickly. Inspect the disc for grooves and replace the fluid regularly, as hard use and water both degrade it.

Fitment and Compatibility

For the WR250F, Accossato divides the front pads by year: AGPA110 is listed for 2018 to 2021, including the EFI model and the 2018 ENDURO GP, while AGPA51 covers 2003 to 2018 and AGPA288 covers 2022 to 2026. Owners of a 2018 bike should compare their current pads, since both AGPA51 and AGPA110 are listed for that year. At the rear, Accossato fits AGPP106. One front caliper means one box. DK111, DK168, DK268 and DK269 are the Accossato discs listed for this model.

Road Approval

No German ABE or test mark exists for this pad in our records. STMX is sold for off-road competition.
