DescriptionThe whole story▼

The 129XT adds 22 mm of rise to a handlebar with a constant 22 mm clamp diameter, and carries German ABE 101198, documenting the conversion as legal for road use on the motorcycles named in that approval. Accossato finishes the risers in black anodised aluminium and lists 26 confirmed fitments.

Key Features

  • +22 mm riser kit for handlebars with 22 mm diameter
  • German ABE 101198, documenting road legality for the fitments it covers
  • Black anodised aluminium construction
  • Keeps the 22 mm clamp diameter unchanged
  • Bolts into the existing triple clamp, no clamp modification needed
  • Covers 26 confirmed motorcycle fitments

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato builds the 129XT to the same 22 mm clamp diameter on both sides, raising the bar by 22 mm without changing what size handlebar fits afterwards. Because the kit carries a documented ABE approval, Accossato controls the rise figure and the finish, black anodised aluminium, more tightly than on its non-approved risers, so every pair matches the dimensions covered by the approval.

The Documented Version of the 129X

Where the otherwise similar 129X in Accossato's range has no road approval attached to it, the 129XT exists specifically to carry German ABE 101198, giving riders a paperwork trail for the same style of 22 mm riser. Riders who need the conversion to be road-legal on paper, rather than just mechanically sound, should check whether their motorcycle sits within the ABE's named fitments before choosing between the two parts.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists 26 confirmed fitments for the 129XT, including the Honda NC750X (2014-2021), Kawasaki Z300 (2015-2015), Ducati Scrambler Icon (2015-2021), SWM Gran Turismo (2016-2016) and Benelli Imperiale 400 (2019-2019). The full list, with production years, sits in the Fitment tab on this page.

Road Approval

The 129XT carries German ABE 101198, documenting it as legal for road use on the motorcycles named in that approval. Riders should carry the ABE document, available in the Downloads tab on this page, with the vehicle when the conversion is fitted.
