The Yamaha Tracer 900 has been carrying riders and their luggage across Europe since 2015, a three-cylinder machine with touring manners and a sporting streak that its owners tend to indulge once or twice a summer. Very often they do it together, because a club or a forum group books a circuit for a day and fills it with familiar faces. Accossato lists the Tracer 900 from 2015 to 2024 under the FC124, a quick-release fuel tank cap machined from aluminium.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato machines the FC124 out of aluminium on CNC equipment, with no other material involved, and calls the finished cap robust and durable; the design is new. The quick-closing pawl is what makes it worth fitting: one movement and the Tracer 900's tank is open, one more and it is shut. Colour comes from the pin inside that pawl, ordered in blue, green, black, red, silver or gold. The pawl is listed separately as a spare, which keeps a knock in a crowded paddock from turning into a larger expense.
When a Club Books the Day
A day organised by a club runs differently from one sold by the session. Everyone knows everyone, the awnings go up in a row, and the arrangements that would be chaotic among strangers work because somebody has thought about them in advance. Fuel is usually one of those arrangements: a shared supply, a rule about where cans are kept, and one person who has checked what the circuit allows. It is worth asking about all of that when you book rather than on the morning. If you are bringing the Tracer 900 to such a day, arrive with a full tank and your own can anyway. Being the rider who has to borrow is a small thing, but it is a small thing that gets remembered.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the Tracer 900 from 2015 to 2024 and the ABS version from 2015 to 2018, and this product covers both. Other Tracer models are listed separately. At Inter-Pace the same FC124 also appears for the MT-09, the MT-09 SP and the MT-10. Please check the application list before ordering.
Road Approval
No German ABE and no parts certificate are on record for this cap, so it belongs on closed courses. The Tracer 900 should wear its original cap on public roads, which normally locks with the ignition key.
