DescriptionThe whole story▼

A 125 Duke is a common first bike for an A1 licence rider, bought precisely because it's light, cheap to run and forgiving to learn on, which also means it gets dropped more often than most. Low-speed tip-overs outside college, in a supermarket car park or on a kerb misjudged at walking pace are the realistic risk here, not a trackday off. For the 125 Duke built between 2011 and 2016, Accossato's TP076 crash pads give those early mistakes somewhere to land.

Key Features

  • Crash pads for the KTM 125 Duke, 2011 to 2016
  • Accossato part TP076, two pads in the pack, one per side
  • CNC-machined aluminium body with a colour-anodised insert
  • Insert available in blue, green, black, red, silver or gold
  • Optional matching screw cover in the same insert colour
  • Fitting may call for drilling on some applications
  • Pairs with the TP078 pads made for the later 125 Duke generation
  • No German ABE on file; listed for racing and competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato machines the TP076 body from aluminium on a CNC centre and fits a coloured, anodised insert, so the finish runs through the metal rather than sitting as paint that chips in a fall. A matching screw cover is available if you'd rather the fixing stayed out of sight. Two pads come in the pack, and whether further mounting hardware beyond the pads is included isn't stated by Accossato, so no claim is made either way here.

A First Bike's First Few Drops

Learner bikes absorb a particular kind of damage: not the dramatic kind from a track crash, but the slow accumulation of scuffed plastic from a bike tipped over at a standstill, again and again, while a new rider works out balance and clutch control. A set of crash pads turns that inevitable early learning curve into scuffed aluminium rather than cracked bodywork, which matters both for appearance and for resale once the rider moves on to something bigger. Check with us before ordering whether drilling is needed for your particular 125 Duke, since Accossato's own list flags this for some applications without naming every one.

Fitment and Compatibility

This TP076 listing covers the 125 Duke built from 2011 to 2016; the later 125 Duke generation from 2017 onwards uses the related TP078 pads instead, so check your exact year before ordering. The same TP076 part is also listed in our shop for the KTM 200 Duke.

Road Approval

Accossato supplies no German ABE or equivalent approval document for the TP076, so we list this pair for racing and competition use on the 125 Duke, not as a road accessory.

Scope of Delivery
