DescriptionThe whole story▼

Not every Husqvarna Norden 901 owner spends their weekends on gravel. Some prefer twisting tarmac, sweeping bends and the occasional open track day, where the front brake is used harder and more often than on a relaxed tour. For them Accossato makes the AGPA96 front pad in the EV1 street/track mixture. It fits the Norden 901 from 2022 to 2024 and suits the keen country-road rider who wants a firmer bite, as well as the owner booking a first circuit session to explore the bike's limits.

Key Features

  • EV1 front pads AGPA96EV1 for the Husqvarna Norden 901
  • Model years 2022 to 2024
  • Accossato claims strong grip for spirited road riding and amateur track days
  • Sharper, more immediate response at the lever
  • Suited to twisty backroads and a first circuit outing
  • Uses the AGPA96 front backing
  • The Norden 901 has two front calipers: two boxes cover the front
  • No ABE in our records; sold for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes EV1 as its bridge between fast road riding and amateur track sessions, giving strong grip in both settings. On the Norden 901 that shows up as a crisper first bite and a closer link between finger pressure and deceleration than the gentler compounds offer. The friction face sits on the same AGPA96 plate as the rest of the family, so fitting is identical. The company's general promise also applies: long wear, controlled temperatures that reduce fade, and powerful stopping.

From Backroads to a First Track Day

A tall adventure bike on a circuit is a rewarding way to learn about braking points and weight transfer. The long-travel suspension dives more than on a sports bike, and a pad with a confident initial response helps the rider feel exactly when the front tyre is loaded. On winding roads the same character makes repeated hard stops before tight bends feel precise rather than vague. EV1 is a good fit for Norden 901 owners who ride briskly and want their brakes to keep up.

Before any track session, check the thickness of all four front pads, look at both discs for blueing or grooves, and make sure the fluid is fresh. Clean the pistons before retracting them and bed the new pads in with gradually firmer stops before you push hard.

Fitment and Compatibility

The AGPA96 is Accossato's front pad for the Husqvarna Norden 901 in model years 2022, 2023 and 2024. Two front calipers mean two boxes for the whole front axle. At the rear the Norden 901 uses Accossato's AGPA29. Compare shapes against your current pads before installation.

Road Approval

We have no ABE or German approval certificate for the AGPA96EV1. The set is offered for closed-circuit and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

Two AGPA96 pads in the EV1 mixture, a set for one front caliper.
