DescriptionThe whole story▼
This Full-length kit for the Honda CB 1000 R RA, built between 2008 and 2016, runs four hoses independently from the master cylinder to each caliper the bike carries, rather than sharing a run between calipers. It is another of the four brake-hose options Accossato offers for this naked Honda, chosen by riders who prefer the shortest direct path to each caliper over the caliper-to-caliper arrangement of the alternative kit, with no difference in how firm the finished lever feels once either set is bled through.
Key Features
- Four-hose Full-length (F) kit for the CB1000R
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings throughout, no painted option on this kit
- Each hose runs independently from the master cylinder to its own caliper
- Firmer, more direct lever feel than the stock rubber hoses
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
Strip away the sheath colour and these four hoses come down to a stainless mesh over the pressure line, finished at both ends in plain, uncoloured stainless. That still leaves the complete twenty-colour sheath range to choose from, matching what the Over-the-mudguard and Standard kits for the same bike both offer.
Why Some CB1000R Owners Prefer Full-Length
Where the Over-the-mudguard kit for this same naked Honda ties the two front calipers together with a shared second line, this version keeps every run independent, which some owners find simplifies future maintenance since any single hose can be replaced without touching the others. On a bike whose brake lines sit in full view rather than behind fairing panels, that independence is as much a practical choice as a styling one.
Fitment and Compatibility
Four Accossato parts cover the Honda CB 1000 R RA across its 2008-2016 production: this Full-length kit, the Over-the-mudguard version numbered AGF2801, and the two ABS-split Standard kits, AGF2800 and AGF2821. Add the shared clutch hose, AGC2817, if the clutch circuit is being upgraded at the same time, and confirm the right combination against the Fitment tab.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
4 braided hoses for the Full-length layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
