Shell Construction & Build Quality

The GP 800 Competition centres on HPC Carbon — a high-performance carbon fibre composite that brings the shell weight down while keeping structural integrity well above what plastics or fibreglass can achieve. Airoh produces this shell in three separate sizes rather than one universal mould, which means the carbon sits closer to your head across the full size run and the helmet never feels disproportionately large on smaller head sizes. The aggressive, aerodynamically resolved silhouette is reinforced by the inherent rigidity of the carbon weave, keeping the shell stable at motorway speeds and on circuit.

Vision System

The 2D Racing Visor offers an extra-wide field of view with a Lock System Racing retention mechanism to prevent any unwanted lift at speed. It is scratch-resistant and UV-resistant as standard, and it is prepared for tear-off strips for wet or circuit use. The included Pinlock 120 XLT Max Vision lens — one of the largest anti-fog inserts Pinlock produces — mounts inside the visor and works in conjunction with the A3S Airoh Automatic Anti-fog System to eliminate misting under virtually all riding conditions.

Interior Comfort & Fit

The removable, washable interior uses Coolmax Superior Performance Technical Textiles treated with 2DRY, MICROSENSE and SANITIZED technology, giving the liner genuine moisture management and hypoallergenic properties. The AMLS magnetic lining system makes removal and refitting straightforward, and the ASN (Airoh Sliding Net) eases the helmet on and off without disturbing the liner alignment. For emergency services, the AEFR system allows trained responders to remove the cheek pads rapidly without compromising the rider's neck position. Retention is via a double D-ring strap — the gold standard for race applications.
