Tricarboco Shell — Lightweight Construction Without Compromise
Suomy's Tricarboco layup combines carbon fibre, aramid and fibreglass in a matrix that is engineered for stiffness, not simply lightness. The result is excellent torsional and vibration stability — characteristics that matter when the road surface deteriorates or a highside puts the helmet to its real test. At approximately 1,350 g ±50 g, the Track-1 sits comfortably in premium sport-helmet territory without imposing unnecessary neck load on long rides. Two shell sizes ensure that a size M and a size XXL are proportionally correct rather than simply padded to fit.
Aerodynamics and Visor System
The shell profile was developed in the wind tunnel with a racing tuck in mind. The aggressive, streamlined silhouette minimises buffeting and turbulence, reducing neck fatigue during extended motorway stretches or back-to-back track sessions. The panoramic visor amplifies this aerodynamic confidence: 210° horizontal coverage means peripheral traffic is visible without turning your head, while the side lock system prevents unintended visor lift at speed. Tool-free visor changes keep preparation time short when swapping to a tinted lens between sessions.
Ventilation and Interior Comfort
Three generously sized front intakes feed a network of EPS-moulded internal channels that direct fresh air across the rider's head before exiting through the rear exhaust port.
