Shell Technology and Protection
The Tri-Fiber shell combines Kevlar®, carbon fibre and fibreglass in a construction Suomy calls Tricarboco-Fiber. Each material is chosen for a specific role: carbon contributes stiffness and low weight, Kevlar® absorbs and spreads impact energy, and fibreglass adds controlled flexibility. The result is a shell that meets UNECE 22-06 — the most stringent homologation currently in force across Europe — without the bulk that compromises confidence or comfort.
Aerodynamics and Ventilation
Every surface of the Track-1 was refined in a wind tunnel. The profile is designed to remain pressure-neutral at high speed, eliminating the head-lift and buffeting that can unsettle concentration during braking or cornering. Four front intake vents work in conjunction with internal ducting to draw fresh air across the head and evacuate warm air at the rear, a system that makes a genuine difference on summer track days or spirited road rides.
Visor and Visibility
The standard visor is ground to Optical Class 1 — the same standard demanded by safety-critical eyewear — and carries a scratch-resistant coating to maintain clarity across thousands of kilometres. The included Pinlock® Max Vision 70 insert creates a sealed air gap between two lens surfaces, eliminating fogging when temperatures drop or humidity rises suddenly. Combined with the tool-free quick-release mechanism, changing to a tinted or photochromic alternative takes seconds at the side of the road.
Comfort and Practicality
The interior is fully removable and washable, preserving a fresh feel long into a helmet's service life. Both cheek pads are pre-cut for Bluetooth communication module speakers, making integration with team intercoms or navigation audio straightforward. Should an incident occur, the emergency-release cheek pads allow paramedics to remove the helmet with minimal head movement — a feature increasingly specified by track-day organisers.
