Durch den Ausbau des schweren Stahl-Katalysators und den Ersatz von Mittel- und Endteil durch Ti1-Titan in Luftfahrtqualität reduziert das System die Abwärme unter dem Motorrad deutlich und sorgt so für kühlere, komfortablere Fahrten — vom Wochenendausflug bis zum vollen Trackday. Verarbeitungsqualität und Fahrkomfort
Vandemon fertigt das Half-System aus Ti1-Titan — derselben Güteklasse, die auch im Rennsport zum Einsatz kommt — statt aus den günstigeren Ti3- oder Edelstahl-Alternativen. Die geringere Wärmeleitfähigkeit des Materials sorgt dafür, dass deutlich weniger Hitze durch die Unterseite des Motorrads abgestrahlt wird als bei der Serien-Stahlanlage — ein Unterschied, der an warmen Tagen oder im Stop-and-go-Verkehr besonders spürbar wird. Die natürlich gebürstete Oberfläche ist nicht nur kosmetisch: Sie maximiert die Oberflächenemission, sodass Wärme nach oben und vom Fahrer weg abgeleitet wird, statt sich auf Knie- und Schienbeinhöhe zu stauen.
Die herausnehmbaren internen Dämmpads verdienen besondere Erwähnung. Statt einen separaten Kauf oder einen physischen Wechsel der Endtöpfe zu erfordern, ziehen Sie die Pads einfach zwischen der Y-Rohr-Verbindung und dem Endtopf selbst heraus. Das bedeutet: Sie starten straßenlegal mit 102 dB von zu Hause und wechseln auf der Rennstrecke in Minuten in die offene Track-Konfiguration — ganz ohne Werkzeug und ohne Einbußen bei der Klangqualität in beiden Fällen.
Performance und Fahrverhalten
Der Ausbau des Stahl-Katalysators trägt am stärksten zur Gewichtsersparnis bei. In Kombination mit der Titan-Fertigung ist das System deutlich leichter als die Werksanlage, senkt den Schwerpunkt und reduziert die ungefederte Rotationsträgheit. Auf der Rennstrecke berichten Fahrer durchweg von schärferem Einlenkverhalten, unmittelbarerem Bremsansprechen und einem lebendigeren Gefühl bei schnellen Richtungswechseln. Der Leistungswert von +7 % wurde auf dem Rollenprüfstand mit entfernten Dämpfereinsätzen ermittelt; mit montierten dB-Killern liefert die Anlage dennoch eine spürbare Verbesserung gegenüber Serie — mit dem zusätzlichen Vorteil eines tiefen, vielschichtigen Titan-Klangs anstelle des gedämpften Tons der Originalanlage.

Das System ersetzt die werkseitigen Krümmer ab dem Sammler nach hinten und behält die originalen Krümmer-Fallrohre bei. Ein fachgerechter Einbau wird empfohlen; ein ECU-Remap oder eine Power-Commander-Abstimmung schöpft den verfügbaren Leistungsgewinn vollständig aus.
