Was das Wort „Umbau" bedeutet
Es bedeutet Arbeit am Gehäuse, kein Fünf-Minuten-Tausch auf dem Parkplatz. Die Aufnahme des Standardelements sitzt nicht dort, wo dieses hier sitzt, sodass der Luftfilterkasten geöffnet und der Filter an anderer Stelle platziert werden muss – eine Arbeit mit Werkzeug- und Zeitaufwand. Sie lässt sich auch nicht rückgängig machen, indem man später das Originalelement wieder einsetzt, denn was verändert wurde, bleibt verändert. Und sie nimmt einer straßenzugelassenen F3 die Ansaugkonfiguration, mit der sie das Werk verlassen hat. Nichts davon macht eine Serien-F3 675 spürbar schneller – ein Element in einem Luftfilterkasten tut das nicht, egal was es kostet.
Ein geschlossenes Zeitfenster, und eine Teilenummer, die es nicht ist
Die 675 war von 2012 bis 2021 im Katalog gelistet, und damit ist es beendet – es wird keine spätere Modellversion geben, um eine jetzt getroffene Entscheidung zu korrigieren. Das ist zugleich die ernsthaftere der beiden Arten, hier einen Sprint Filter einzubauen: Sie kostet etwa das Vierfache des Standard-Straßenelements für dasselbe Motorrad, und der Großteil davon ist Konstruktion, nicht Gewebe. Die Nummer selbst lebt weiter und deckt die F3 800 bis 2026 ab, sodass die Verfügbarkeit nicht an der Produktionszeit der 675 hängt. Notieren Sie, was am Gehäuse geändert wurde. Ein späterer Besitzer kann es nicht erkennen – die Verkleidung verbirgt es vollständig.
Pflege und Reinigung
R135S-SBK wird trocken gewartet. Druckluft auf der sauberen Seite, nach außen gerichtet, sodass das, was das Gewebe aufgehalten hat, denselben Weg verlässt, auf dem es hineingelangt ist; halten Sie die Baugruppe am Kohlefaserrahmen und nicht am Filtermedium fest. Reicht Luft allein nicht aus, erledigen lauwarmes Wasser mit einem milden Spülmittel und eine Spülung, bis das Wasser klar bleibt, den Rest. Danach trocknet es ausschließlich an offener Luft – eine Heißluftpistole, ein Heizkörper oder eine Flamme zerstören Polyester, und das ist kein Schritt, den man überstürzen sollte. Es wird trocken wieder eingesetzt, ohne dass etwas aufgesprüht oder aufgewischt wird. Das Pflegeblatt finden Sie im Tab „Downloads".
