Sie ist keine Prognose, wie lange das Element brauchbar bleibt, und auch kein Hinweis, dass sich danach etwas ändert. Es ist der Katalog, der in der Gegenwartsform spricht: Die R 1300 RS ist ein aktuelles Modell, daher endet die Angabe beim laufenden Jahr und wird verlängert, solange die Maschine gebaut wird. Diese Unterscheidung ist hier wichtiger als bei einem älteren Motorrad, weil alles andere an SM294S bewusst zeitlos gehalten ist.

Ein Teil ohne eigenes Modelljahr
Das Gewebe in diesem Rahmen wird nicht jährlich überarbeitet. Sein Siebwert von 80 Mikron und die 5.050 l/m²/sek sind Eigenschaften eines Materials und werden in zehn Jahren genauso gelten wie heute. Sprint Filter entwirft das Element für die Nutzungsdauer des Motorrads statt für ein Intervall, was die übliche Frage umkehrt: Statt zu fragen, wann das Teil abläuft, fragen Sie, wie lange Sie die RS behalten möchten. Das einzige Datum, das wirklich zählt, ist die zweijährige Garantie, und die deckt die Herstellung ab, nicht die gefahrenen Kilometer.
Innerhalb der Reihe wählen, nicht sie hochsteigen
Für dieses Gehäuse werden drei Medien angeboten, und sie bilden keine Rangfolge. Feineres Gewebe hält mehr zurück und lässt weniger durch; gröberes Gewebe verhält sich umgekehrt. Der P08 liegt in der Mitte dieses Tauschs, weshalb er die vernünftige Standardwahl für einen Sporttourer ist, der sein Leben bei gemischtem Wetter auf befestigten Straßen verbringt. Gegenüber einer vierlagigen geölten Baumwolle erreichte er 93,13 Prozent Rückhaltung von 100-Mikron-Partikeln gegenüber 76,42 Prozent, und das ohne Öl, das seinen Weg zu einem Sensor finden könnte. Was er nicht tut: eine Serien-R 1300 RS spürbar stärker machen; der Gewinn ist ein niedrigerer und stabilerer Ansaugwiderstand sowie ein Teil, das nicht mehr auf Ersatzteilrechnungen auftaucht.
Pflege und Reinigung
Blasen Sie SM294S mit Druckluft von der sauberen Seite nach außen durch, niemals von der belasteten Seite her. Wenn eine lange Reisesaison einen Film hinterlassen hat, den Luft nicht abheben kann, waschen Sie es in lauwarmem Wasser mit einem milden Reinigungsmittel und spülen Sie es gründlich aus. Getrocknet wird ausschließlich in bewegter Luft, so lange es eben dauert; Heißluftgebläse, Flammen und heiße Oberflächen zerstören das Gewebe. Bauen Sie es trocken und ungeölt wieder ein. Passgenauigkeit & Kompatibilität
