The Hypermotard 950 ran from 2019 to 2025 as the standard bike, the RVE with its graffiti livery and the SP with Öhlins and a taller seat — and Ducati changed suspension, wheels and paint between them, never the intake. The Sprint Filter P08 CM61S fits all three, and it also covers twenty-one other Ducatis. That breadth is not a footnote: it is the reason the part remains easy to buy long after any individual version leaves the price list.

The SP earns it most

All three versions share the 937 cc twin, but the SP is the one bought to be ridden hard — better suspension means a rider who carries more speed and opens the throttle earlier. Every one of those roll-ons is a transient, and the pressure drop across a partly loaded filter rises with flow, so it costs most exactly there. On the standard bike the same effect is present but asked for less often.

Bought once for the whole ownership

Cleaned rather than replaced: compressed air at most services, water when a season has earned it, refitted dry. Over seven model years of production there are owners on their second and third bike in this family — and the same element goes into all of them.

Care and cleaning

Compressed air from the clean side outwards. For a deeper clean, wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, rinse until the water runs clear, and dry fully in air — never with heat, never with a flame. Refit dry; there is no oiling step.
