Ein Dämpfer ist kein Verschleißteil im Ganzen, sondern eine Baugruppe aus Teilen, die einzeln getauscht werden können. Verschleiß am Ventilsitz zeigt sich als weiche Dämpfung im ersten Teil des Hubs.
