Funktion
Als Maß nennt Öhlins Innendurchmesser 20 mm, Schnurstärke 1.3 mm, Werkstoff NBR 70. O-Ringe werden über den Innendurchmesser und die Schnurstärke bestimmt, nicht über den Außendurchmesser. Ihre Lippe läuft auf der Welle und verschleißt mit jedem Zentimeter Hub. Werkstoffe wie NBR und FKM unterscheiden sich in der Temperaturbeständigkeit deutlich.
