Öhlins-Gabelfedern werden gewickelt, gesetzt und danach einzeln vermessen; die Rate auf dem Etikett ist die Rate, die geliefert wird. Die richtige Rate verändert Fahrhöhe, statischen Negativfederweg und den Anteil des Federwegs, der überhaupt nutzbar ist. Federn werden paarweise getauscht, nie einzeln.
