Was es ist
Maßlich ist das Teil mit Innendurchmesser 14 mm, Außendurchmesser 39 mm beschrieben. Die Dichtung hält das Öl im System und den Schmutz draußen. Sie ist das Teil, das bei einer Überholung am häufigsten getauscht wird. Ein undichter Dichtkopf zeigt sich als Ölfilm auf der Welle, lange bevor es tropft.

Für die Überholung einer kompletten Einheit stellen wir den Teilesatz auf Wunsch zusammen. Wer beim Zerlegen ohnehin offen ist, tauscht die Verschleißpositionen gleich mit — ein zweites Öffnen kostet mehr als das Teil. Eine korrekt bestückte Überholung stellt das Ansprechverhalten wieder her, das ein müder Dämpfer verloren hat.
