Die 25IDS-Architektur im Herzen dieses Kartuschenkits folgt demselben Prinzip, das auch in den Top-Wettbewerbsprodukten von K-Tech zum Einsatz kommt. Durch die Trennung der Druck- und Zugstufenkreise innerhalb eines Kartuschenkörpers mit 25 mm Innendurchmesser kann ein Fahrwerkstechniker — oder ein erfahrener Fahrer — gezielte Anpassungen vornehmen, die vorhersehbare, messbare Auswirkungen auf das Fahrverhalten haben. Da keine Wechselwirkung zwischen den Kreisen besteht, sind Setup-Änderungen sauber und reproduzierbar, egal ob Sie eine Qualifying-Rundenzeit jagen oder den Komfort für eine lange Straßentour abstimmen.
Die Kartusche ist 682,5 mm lang und hat einen Hub von 125 mm — spürbar mehr als beim Serienteil — was den nutzbaren Federweg vergrößert und die Geometrie der Panigale bei starkem Bremsen konstanter hält. Der Öl-/Luftabstand liegt bei empfohlenen 145 mm, mit einer empfohlenen Grundeinstellung von 14 Klicks Druckstufe und 18 Klicks Zugstufe sowie 8 mm Vorspannung als Ausgangspunkt. Alle empfohlenen Einstellungen dienen als bewährte Basis; der breite Klick-Bereich erlaubt eine deutliche Feinabstimmung in beide Richtungen.
Harteloxierung und eine hochglanzveredelte Oberflächenbehandlung aller internen Bauteile reduzieren die Reibung und verhindern die Mikro-Lochkorrosion, die serienmäßige Gabel-Innenteile im Laufe der Zeit beeinträchtigt. Das Ergebnis ist eine Gabel, die sich am Ende einer Trackday-Session genauso präzise anfühlt wie in der ersten Runde.
