DDS-Technologie & Verarbeitungsqualität
Im Zentrum des K-Tech Direct Damping Systems steht eine Kolbenstange mit schlankem Durchmesser, die ein gleichbleibendes Fließverhalten des Öls über einen breiten Temperaturbereich gewährleistet. Diese thermische Stabilität ist sowohl im Langstrecken- als auch im Sprintrennsport entscheidend, da sich die Dämpfungscharakteristik nicht verändern darf, wenn sich die Komponenten über einen langen Stint erhitzen. Der BPV-Kreislauf arbeitet parallel zum Haupt-Druckstufenpaket und erlaubt es Fahrer oder Techniker, die Dämpfung im niedrigen Geschwindigkeitsbereich – dem für Kurveneingang-Stabilität und Kurvenmitte-Balance entscheidenden Bereich – abzustimmen, ohne die bereits eingestellte Hochgeschwindigkeits-Dämpfung zu beeinflussen.
Alle externen Versteller sind CNC-gefräst und mit spürbaren Rastpunkten versehen, sodass Änderungen in der Box oder an der Startaufstellung reproduzierbar und leicht rückgängig zu machen sind. Dank integrierter Potentiometer-Befestigungspunkte ist der DDS Pro bereit für die Datenerfassung: Schließen Sie ein lineares Potentiometer an, und das Federbein liefert Echtzeit-Daten zur Federwegsposition direkt an Ihr Aim-, Motec- oder Werkslogger-System.
Einsatz auf Straße & Strecke
Die Street Triple 765 S, R und RS teilen sich über den gesamten Modelljahrgang 2017–2026 dieselbe Geometrie der Hinterradaufhängung, und die 283 mm Einbaulänge (Auge zu Auge) sowie der 60 mm Federweg des DDS Pro sind exakt auf dieses Fahrwerk abgestimmt. Die Längenverstellung erlaubt es, die Heckhöhe für eine aggressive Streckengeometrie anzuheben oder für einen kleineren Fahrer auf der Straße abzusenken. Ob es darum geht, in Snetterton Rundenzeiten zu verbessern oder zügig und souverän über schnelle Landstraßen zu fahren – mit dem hydraulischen Vorspannungs-Versteller gleichen Sie Sozius- oder Gepäcklasten mühelos aus, ganz ohne Hakenschlüssel.

Der Einbau dieses Federbeins erfordert Spezialwerkzeug und Fachwissen im Bereich Fahrwerkstechnik.
