Dieser JetPrime universelle Zusatz-Taster für den Lenker (JP PNO 001) wird wie sein bistabiles Gegenstück anstelle der Kupplungspumpen-Klemme montiert, jedoch in monostabiler Ausführung. Er aktiviert die angeschlossene Funktion nur, solange der Taster gedrückt bleibt.

Ein Taster, der sich selbst zurücksetzt
Anders als ein Umschalter hält dieser Taster einen Stromkreis nur für den Moment aktiv, in dem er gedrückt wird, und kehrt sofort beim Loslassen in seinen Ausgangszustand zurück. Das macht die Nutzung vorhersehbar, da nie ein Zweifel besteht, ob eine Funktion noch aktiv ist.
Montage ohne separate Halterung
Auch hier liefert die Kupplungspumpen-Klemme den Befestigungspunkt, sodass die Montage des Tasters nichts Zusätzliches an den Lenker bringt. Die Klemme selbst erfüllt weiterhin ihre ursprüngliche Aufgabe, den Bremspumpenbehälter sicher zu halten.
Momentane Funktionen passen zu diesem Konzept
Alles, was nur während der aktiven Betätigung laufen soll, etwa eine Hupe, ein Startsignal oder eine kurzzeitige Datenmarkierung, passt natürlicher zu einem monostabilen Taster als zu einem Umschalter. Ein Umschalter würde hier nicht passen, da die Funktion lange über den eigentlichen Bedarf hinaus aktiv bliebe.
Nicht an ein bestimmtes Motorrad gebunden
Da derselbe klemmenbasierte Montageansatz wie im übrigen Sortiment verwendet wird, funktioniert der Taster an einer Vielzahl von Lenkern statt nur an einem bestimmten Modell. Dasselbe Teil kann im Laufe der Zeit zwischen mehreren Motorrädern wechseln, statt an ein Modell gebunden zu sein.
Einfach anzuschließen
Der Einbau folgt demselben Klemmentausch-Prinzip wie bei anderen JetPrime-Zusatztastern und wird direkt an den jeweils gewünschten Stromkreis angeschlossen, der nur kurzzeitig ausgelöst werden soll. Besonderes Werkzeug ist in der Regel nicht nötig, über das hinaus, was ohnehin für die Kupplung verwendet wird.
