The JP KS AP009AT swaps the Tuono V4 R APRC's lock barrel for a machined switch, which is the point at which a motorcycle stops being something you can park in a street.

When APRC Was New
Aprilia's electronics package arrived on this generation and made a very fast naked bike manageable. The machines are old enough now that a track conversion costs less than the parts it replaces.
The Steering Lock Goes
Removing the barrel removes the lock with it. On a road bike that matters; on a machine in a van between circuits it does not.
A Race Regulation Question
Some championships have rules about how the engine must be stoppable. Worth reading before ordering rather than at scrutineering.
What It Does Not Do
No power, no fuelling and no rider aid changes. It is a control and its influence stops at the ignition circuit.
Immobilisers
Where the key holds a transponder, the aerial around the barrel is part of the circuit. That question has to be answered before the barrel comes off, not after.
Nothing Else Changes
Traction control, the maps, the quickshifter and the lights all continue exactly as before. The ignition circuit is the only one involved.
The Steering Lock
It leaves with the barrel, and there is no substitute in the new part. A motorcycle stored anywhere public needs a different answer.
Machining and Anodising
Cut from solid, then the finish grown into the surface. Neither step is necessary for a switch and both are why this one lasts a decade.
Between Sessions
The bike sits armed or dead depending on one press. There is nothing hanging out of the yoke to catch a glove or a knee.

The plate follows the yoke's shape and hole spacing, the connector follows the model's loom, and the wiring length follows where the block sat. Four things have to match, which is why the catalogue lists motorcycles rather than sizes.
