Warum sich das Display beschwert
Halbaktive Gabeln sind keine passiven Bauteile. Jedes Holm trägt ein Magnetventil, das das Fahrwerkssteuergerät ansteuert und laufend überwacht, und das System erwartet sie bei jedem Zündungszyklus. Montiert man konventionelle Gabeln, sind diese Stromkreise schlicht weg, was die Elektronik als Hardwarefehler meldet. Dieser Eliminator liefert die Signatur, nach der das Steuergerät sucht.

JetPrime teilt den Ausbau des elektronischen Fahrwerks in getrennte Teile: Gabeln vorn, Federbein hinten, Lenkungsdämpfer und das Steuergerät selbst. Das ist Absicht — Fahrer wechseln oft ein Ende nach dem anderen oder behalten den elektronischen Dämpfer, während Federung und Dämpfung konventionell werden. Wer alles umbauen will, fährt mit dem Komplettsatz günstiger.
Montage
Der Stecker des Gabelkabelbaums sitzt vorn am Rahmen und ist mit abgenommener Oberschale erreichbar. Leitungen der elektronischen Gabeln abziehen, Eliminator kabelbaumseitig aufstecken und frei vom Lenkanschlag sichern. Nichts wird geschnitten, und die Seriengabeln lassen sich mit entferntem Eliminator wieder montieren.
