Zahnriemen sind an diesem Motor ein Wartungsteil nach Plan, und diese Abdeckungen müssen dafür herunter. Damit sind sie die Carbonteile am Motorrad, die am häufigsten in die Hand genommen werden.
Das macht das Detail an den Schraubaugen wichtiger als die Oberfläche. Eine Abdeckung, die fünfmal ab und wieder dran war, soll immer noch plan anliegen – und das hängt davon ab, wie die Augen laminiert sind, nicht vom Klarlack.
Passend für
Ducati Monster 1200, Modelljahre 2014 bis 2020, an den Originalaufnahmen. Über das Facelift 2017 hinweg unverändert. Sagen Sie Ihrer Werkstatt vor dem Riemenservice, dass die Abdeckungen aus Carbon sind.
Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Es sind Abdeckungen über einer vorhandenen Kapselung – klären Sie die Lage für Ihre eigene Zulassung vor dem Straßeneinsatz.
Was die Abdeckungen fernhalten
Ein Zahnriemen fällt durch Verschmutzung und durch Alter aus, selten durch Last. Splitt, der hinter eine Abdeckung gerät, wird zwischen Riemen und Rad gezogen, und der Schaden sammelt sich unsichtbar, bis eine Prüfung ihn findet.
Die Abdeckungen sind deshalb nicht dekorativ: Eine fehlende oder schlecht sitzende verkürzt ein Wartungsteil, das teuer zu ersetzen und im Versagensfall ernst ist. Richtig montieren oder die Originale drauf lassen.
