Warum hier meist matt gewinnt
Dieses Paneel liegt etwa im selben Winkel wie das Instrumentenglas, was bedeutet: Was spiegelt, spiegelt in Ihre Augen und nicht von ihnen weg. Ein hochglänzender Klarlack neben einem Display ist die eine Stelle am Motorrad, an der die Oberfläche wirklich stören kann, besonders bei tiefstehender Sonne im Rücken.
Matt kostet dasselbe und beseitigt das Problem vollständig. Wenn der Rest des Motorrads in Klarlack aufgebaut wird, ist dies trotzdem das eine Paneel, das man in matt nehmen sollte – die Instrumenteneinfassung sieht von außen niemand, und Sie sehen sie ständig.
Was es nicht abdeckt
Zur Klarstellung des Umfangs: Dies ist die Einfassung, nicht das Display und nicht das Gehäuse dahinter. Die Instrumenteneinheit selbst, ihre Verkabelung und ihre Befestigung bleiben unverändert, an der Elektronik wird nichts angefasst. Das Teil legt sich über die Frontfläche und verändert, was man sieht – mehr nicht.
Das ist erwähnenswert, weil Carbon-Instrumententeile am Markt gelegentlich einen kompletten Gehäusetausch samt Elektroarbeit bedeuten. Dieses nicht. Wenn das Display sich merkwürdig verhält, ist dieses Teil weder Ursache noch Abhilfe.
