Akrapovic ist genau: Dieser Satz passt an Motorräder ab Modelljahr 2024 mit zwei Lambdasonden. Euro 5+ verlangt eine Sonde nach dem Katalysator und nicht nur davor, und diese zweite ist der Grund, warum die Leitung zu kurz wird.

Warum ein Kabel verlängert werden muss
Die Sonde bleibt, wo Honda sie hingesetzt hat; der Stecker, in den sie geht, wandert ebenfalls nicht. Was sich ändert, ist der Weg dazwischen, sobald eine andere Anlage im Weg sitzt — und ein für den Werksdämpfer verlegter Strang reicht dann nicht mehr ohne Spannung.
Ein gespannter Kabelbaum ist ein langsamer Schaden: Der Stecker wird belastet, Feuchtigkeit findet die Kontakte, und irgendwann erscheint ein Fehlercode, der augenscheinlich nichts mit dem Auspuff zu tun hat. Eine Verlängerung verhindert das alles zum Preis einer Tankfüllung.
