Zwei Schilde, ein Motorrad
Akrapovic hat das Hauptständerproblem mit zwei Teilen gelöst statt mit einem Kompromiss. P-HSS10SO3 deckt die GSX-S1000, die GT, die Katana und eine GX ohne Ständer ab; dieser hier eine GX mit ihm.
Welches Ihr Motorrad auch ist — einer der beiden passt und der andere nicht. Schauen Sie vor der Bestellung unter die Maschine, der Ständer ist offensichtlich, sobald man weiß, dass man hinsehen muss.
Warum der Ständer etwas ändert
Ein Hauptständer ist beidseitig tief am Rahmen verschraubt, und sein rechtes Bein verläuft nahe an der Abgasführung. Der Schild muss um ihn herum geformt sein — oder so, als wäre er nicht da.
An der GX — der hohen Crossover-Fassung und der, die am ehesten auf Reisen geht — bietet Suzuki den Ständer in den meisten Märkten serienmäßig an, und nur deshalb gibt es überhaupt einen eigenen Schild.
Die GX fällt aus dem Rahmen
Suzuki baut auf dieser Plattform vier Motorräder: die nackte GSX-S1000, die verkleidete GT, die Retro-Katana und die GX. Die GX ist die hohe mit langem Federweg und einer Sitzposition näher an einer Reiseenduro — und als einzige der vier serienmäßig mit Werks-Hauptständer.

Carbon gegen Titan
Die Slip-On Line der GX hat eine Titanhülle, die mit der Hitze nachdunkelt. Ein Carbonschild daneben bleibt schwarz — ein Kontrast und keine Angleichung, und genau die beabsichtigte Wirkung.
Ein Zubehörteil
Der Slip-On ist auch ohne ihn vollständig. Diesen Schild gibt es für Halter, die wollen, dass die Anlage sich als ein gestaltetes Bauteil liest und nicht als Dämpfer mit dem Werksblech daneben — und an der GX, wo die Anlage unter einer hohen, aufrechten Maschine sitzt, ist dieses Blech sehr sichtbar.

Suzuki hat die GSX-S1000GX für 2024 eingeführt, und sie wird weiter gebaut. Ein Schild deckt das Modell bislang ab, und die Hauptständerbedingung ist die einzige zu prüfende Größe.
