Warum der Markthinweis hier zählt
Die Hayabusa wurde weltweit in sehr unterschiedlichen Abstimmungen verkauft, mit unterschiedlicher Abgastechnik und in manchen Märkten mit anderem Innenleben der Anlage. Eine Drossel, die um die europäische Anlage herum bemessen ist, passt nicht zwingend an eine importierte Maschine.
Kam das Motorrad privat ins Land und nicht über einen Suzuki-Händler, lohnt sich diese Prüfung vor der Bestellung. Die Fahrgestellnummer sagt einem Händler, in welcher Ausführung sie das Werk verlassen hat.
Die genannte Anlage
Akrapovic gibt die Racing Line (Titanium) S-S13R1-APLT an. Diese Artikelnummer steht nicht in der Preisliste, aus der dieser Shop bezieht — sie führt für die Hayabusa ab 2021 andere Akrapovic-Anlagen.
Ob dieser Einsatz zu einer davon passt, ist eine Frage an den Vertrieb. Ein Geräuscheinsatz ist auf einen bestimmten Austritt bemessen, und darüber sollte man nicht raten.
Ein Motorrad, das auffällt
Die Hayabusa steht seit fünfundzwanzig Jahren als Kurzform für schiere Geschwindigkeit, und sie gehört zu den Maschinen, bei denen ein Geräuschprüfer zweimal hinsieht. Wer sie zu einem Trackday bringt, wird eher als andere um eine Standmessung gebeten.
Den Einsatz vorher im Werkzeugkasten zu haben ist der Unterschied zwischen Fahren und Zuschauen.
Keine veröffentlichte Wirkung
Akrapovic nennt keinen Wert dafür, wie weit der Messwert sinkt. Hier wird nichts geschätzt — die Absenkung hängt an der Anlage, am Motor und an der Messung, und eine für eine Produktseite erfundene Zahl wäre schlimmer, als das Fehlen einzugestehen.
Immer herausnehmbar
Ein Geräuschdämpfer ist eine eingeschraubte Drossel und keine Umbaumaßnahme. Er kommt für die Veranstaltung hinein, die ihn verlangt, und danach mit Handwerkzeug wieder heraus — an der Anlage ändert sich nichts dauerhaft.
Die Generation ab 2021
Suzuki überarbeitete die Hayabusa zum Jahr 2021 mit neuer Anlage und Euro-5-Konformität. Dieser Einsatz gehört zu dieser Maschine; die früheren Motorräder haben andere Anlagen und andere Einsätze.
Optional
Die Racing Line ist auch ohne ihn vollständig. Akrapovic verkauft den Einsatz getrennt, weil ihn nur manche Veranstalter verlangen — und es keinen Sinn hat, jede Anlage für einen Minderheitsfall zu verteuern.
Zulassung
Im üblichen Sinn nicht einschlägig. Es geht um die Geräuschgrenze einer Strecke; die Racing Line, an die er passt, ist ohnehin eine Wettbewerbsanlage ohne Straßenzulassung.
