Eine aufgeladene Z H2 und eine saugende Z900 haben sehr wenig gemeinsam, und ein Geräuschdämpfer deckt beide ab. Das folgt aus der Anlage und nicht aus dem Motor — Akrapovic verwendet über beide hinweg denselben Dämpferaustritt, und eine Drossel ist auf den Austritt bemessen.

Zwei sehr verschiedene Kawasakis
Die Z H2 trägt einen aufgeladenen 998-cm³-Vierzylinder mit rund 200 PS. Die Z900 ist eine saugende 948er mit etwa 125 PS und eines der verbreitetsten Naked Bikes in Deutschland.
Gemeinsam sind ihnen Durchmesser und Aufnahme des Akrapovic-Dämpferaustritts — und mehr interessiert einen Geräuscheinsatz nicht. Deshalb bedient ein einziges Teil zwei ansonsten unverwandte Motorräder.
Zuerst den Dämpfer klären
Akrapovic nennt S-K10SO26-ASZSSBL, und dieser Slip-On steht nicht in der Preisliste, aus der dieser Shop bezieht. Mehrere andere Akrapovic-Dämpfer für Z900 und Z H2 stehen darin.
Ob dieser Einsatz zu einem davon passt, kann der Vertrieb aus Daten beantworten, die der öffentliche Katalog nicht führt. Bei einem engen Passteil ist das keine Frage, die man durch Annahme beantwortet.
Warum eine Z900-Besitzerin einen will
Trackdays. Die Z900 ist eine verbreitete Wahl für Einsteigergruppen und Clubveranstaltungen, und genau dort wird an der Einfahrt das Standgeräusch gemessen und das Ergebnis ohne Diskussion durchgesetzt.
Ein Titan-Slip-On an einem 948-cm³-Vierzylinder ist keine leise Anlage, und eine herausnehmbare Drossel ist der günstigste Weg zur Einhaltung an den zwei, drei Tagen im Jahr, an denen sie nötig ist.
Keine veröffentlichte Wirkung
Akrapovic nennt keinen Dezibelwert. Auf dieser Seite wird nichts geschätzt — die Wirkung eines Einsatzes schwankt mit Anlage, Motor und Messverfahren, und nur ein am tatsächlichen Motorrad genommener Wert ist etwas wert.
Zehn Modelljahre
Die Passung reicht von 2017 bis 2026 und deckt damit die gesamte Bauzeit der aktuellen Z900 sowie die Z H2 ab ihrer Einführung 2020 ab. Das ist für ein kleines Teil eine breite Abdeckung, und sie folgt daraus, dass Kawasaki die Dämpferaufnahme konstant gehalten hat.
Mit Handwerkzeug hinein und heraus
Nichts Dauerhaftes. Der Einsatz wird in den Austritt geschraubt, und sein Ausbau stellt die Anlage genau wieder her — das ist der Sinn einer optionalen Drossel gegenüber einem leiseren Dämpfer.
Optional
Der Slip-On ist auch ohne ihn vollständig. Es gibt ihn für den bestimmten Fall, dass eine Veranstaltung einen niedrigeren Wert verlangt, als die Anlage ab Werk liefert.
Zulassung
Im üblichen Sinn nicht einschlägig. Ein Geräuscheinsatz betrifft die Standgeräuschgrenze einer Strecke; ob das Motorrad straßenlegal ist, liegt am Dämpfer und dessen eigener Genehmigung.
