Akrapovic nennt hier eine Zahl, und es ist die, auf die es an einer Motocross-Strecke ankommt: 109 dB/A. Das ist der Grenzwert, gegen den die meisten europäischen Clubs und viele nationale Verbände messen — und dieser Dämpfer existiert, damit eine Evolution Line ihn einhält.

Warum 109 dB/A

Die Geräuschmessung im Motocross ist nicht dieselbe wie der Standtest bei Straßenmotorrädern. Clubs messen in festem Abstand und bei fester Drehzahl, und 109 dB/A hat sich in weiten Teilen Europas als üblicher Schwellenwert durchgesetzt. Eine Maschine darüber startet nicht, egal was sonst an ihr stimmt.

Den Messwert mit eingebautem Dämpfer veröffentlicht Akrapovic nicht, nur dass er für diesen Grenzwert entwickelt wurde. Wir erfinden keine Zahl — wenn eine bestimmte Veranstaltung Ihnen einen Wert vorgibt, sagen Sie es uns, wir fragen direkt bei Akrapovic nach.

Optional, nicht Pflicht

Die Evolution Line funktioniert ohne diesen Dämpfer. Er kommt hinein, wenn eine Strecke ihn verlangt, und danach wieder heraus.

Ein- und Ausbau

Ein Geräuschdämpfer sitzt im Austritt des Schalldämpfers und wird mit einer Schraube durch die Endkappe gehalten. Der Einbau dauert mit einem einzigen Werkzeug ein paar Minuten, und nach der Veranstaltung kommt er genauso wieder heraus.

Artikelnummer

Akrapovic führt diesen Dämpfer unter V-TUV385. Das Gegenstück für die Yamaha 250 und 450 ist V-TUV386.
