Die Z1000 R Edition ist die Version von Kawasakis großem unverkleidetem Vierzylinder für Fahrer, die von Bremsen und Federbein mehr wollen, als das Grundmodell bietet. Accossato bindet diesen Deckel an bestimmte Jahre davon, und bei einem solchen Motorrad zahlt es sich aus, genau zu wissen, welches Jahr das Ihre ist. Das ist nicht immer das Jahr, das in den Fahrzeugpapieren steht. Für die Z1000 R Edition von 2022 und 2023 führt Accossato den FC113, einen Deckel mit Schnellverschluss für den Kraftstofftank, aus Aluminium CNC-gefräst, mit sechs Farben für seinen Klinkenstift.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der FC113 stammt vollständig aus CNC-gefrästem Aluminium, das Accossato für robust und langlebig hält, und sein Aussehen ist neu. An der Z1000 R Edition öffnet er sich über eine schnell schließende Klinke, und dieselbe Klinke verschließt den Tank in einer kurzen Bewegung wieder. Ihren Stift können Sie in sechs Farben bestellen. Sollte diese Klinke einmal verbiegen oder brechen, kann Accossato sie einzeln liefern, der komplette Deckel muss also nicht ersetzt werden.
Modelljahr oder Erstzulassung?
Das Modelljahr eines Motorrads und das Datum seiner Erstzulassung sind zwei verschiedene Dinge. Ein Motorrad kann monatelang im Schauraum stehen, bevor es verkauft wird, und eines, das für eine bestimmte Saison gebaut wurde, erreicht seinen ersten Besitzer womöglich ein Jahr später oder mehr. Die Fahrzeugpapiere zeigen, wann das Motorrad zum ersten Mal auf die Straße kam; das Modelljahr hängt davon ab, wann und für welche Saison es gebaut wurde. Bei der Z1000 R Edition, bei der die Jahre auf der Liste von Accossato darüber entscheiden, welcher Deckel gilt, lohnt es sich, beides zu prüfen. Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den FC113 für die Z 1000 R Edition mit den Jahren 2022 und 2023, und dieses Produkt folgt diesem Eintrag. Bei Inter-Pace findet sich derselbe Deckel außerdem unter der Z1000SX und der Z800. Andere Jahre der R Edition erscheinen auf der Liste von Accossato nicht mit diesem Deckel, prüfen Sie also die Angaben Ihres Motorrads, bevor Sie bestellen.
Straßenzulassung
Der FC113 hat weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein dokumentiertes Teilegutachten und ist deshalb für die Rennstrecke gedacht. Auf öffentlichen Straßen behält die Z1000 R Edition ihren Originaldeckel, der sich normalerweise mit dem Zündschlüssel abschließen lässt.
