Die Panigale 1299 löste die 1199 für 2015 mit der größten Version von Ducatis Superquadro-Zweizylinder ab, und viele von ihnen werden auf die Rennstrecke gebracht. Wer schon ein paar Trackdays auf einer solchen gefahren hat, weiß, dass die Runden nur ein Teil des Tages sind. Zwischen den Einheiten geht das Motorrad auf Montageständer, die Reifenwärmer kommen an und ab, und oft sind es genau diese Minuten des Hebens und Senkens, nicht die Strecke selbst, bei denen ein Supersportler am Ende auf der Seite liegt. Der PF050 von Accossato gibt der Panigale 1299 von 2015 bis 2017 zwei schwarze Achsprotektoren vorne.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Zwei Protektoren bilden den PF050, und Accossato verbindet in jedem davon Aluminium mit Kunststoff, bevor beide in Schwarz ausgeführt werden. Für die Montage liegt nach Angabe des Herstellers alles bereit, einschließlich Distanzstücke und Schrauben. Was sie an einer Panigale 1299 leisten können, ist begrenzt, aber nützlich: Fällt oder rutscht das Motorrad, sollen sie den Boden vor Gabel und Vorderachsbereich erreichen und das Schleifen übernehmen, das sonst teurere Teile zeichnen würde. Verhindern können sie Schäden nicht, nur verringern. Behandeln Sie sie als Verschleißteile und erneuern Sie einen Protektor, sobald er einen harten Treffer zeigt.
Montageständer und Reifenwärmer
An einem Trackday steht die Panigale 1299 mehr, als sie fährt, und die meiste Zeit steht sie auf Montageständern. Der hintere kommt zuerst. Eine einseitige Schwinge braucht einen dafür gebauten Ständer, dessen Bolzen vollständig eingerastet sein muss, bevor Sie in einer einzigen flüssigen Bewegung heben, auf festem, ebenem Grund statt am abfallenden Rand des Fahrerlagers. Der vordere Ständer kommt danach und geht als Erster wieder ab. Wärmerkabel sind eine Stolperfalle für Sie und für alle, die vorbeigehen, führen Sie sie also von den Ständerrollen weg und schalten Sie die Wärmer ab, bevor Sie sie abstecken. Beim Absenken klappen Sie zuvor den Seitenständer aus und halten eine Hand am Lenker, oder lassen Sie sich von jemandem die andere Seite halten. Rutscht die 1299 trotzdem von einem Ständer, sollen die Protektoren das sein, was zuerst den Boden berührt. Prüfen Sie sie und die Gabel vor der nächsten Einheit.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato listet den PF050 für die Panigale 1299 von 2015 bis 2017, und so haben wir ihn verlinkt. Kein weiteres Accossato-Schutzteil ist für dieses Motorrad gelistet.
