Der TC002 übernimmt das nackte TC001-CrossThrottle-Gehäuse und fügt serienmäßig den GR003-Griff hinzu, verkauft weiterhin ohne Züge, sodass der Fahrer wählt oder weiterverwendet, welcher Accossato-Zug zum eigenen Aufbau passt. GR003 ist der Geländegriff in Accossatos Sortiment, hier in sieben Farben erhältlich, eine größere Auswahl als bei den meisten straßenorientierten Griffen der MY-Reihe. Das Gehäuse selbst bleibt gegenüber dem TC001 unverändert: zwei CNC-gefräste, eloxierte Aluminium-Halbschalen, aufgebaut um eine Einzelzug-Mechanik.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato baut das Gehäuse des TC002 genauso wie das des TC001, zwei Aluminium-Halbschalen, eloxiert, um eine Einzelzug-Mechanik herum, montiert aber serienmäßig den GR003-Griff statt das Gehäuse nackt zu lassen. GR003 wird in diesem Listing in sieben Farben angeboten, mehr als die meisten straßenorientierten Griffe der MY-Reihe bieten, was seinen Einsatz im gesamten Gelände-Sortiment von Accossato widerspiegelt statt an einen einzelnen Gasgriff gebunden zu sein. Auch für dieses Gehäuse ist kein internes Nockensystem beschrieben, die Gasannahme folgt also dem Zug und der Form des GR003-Griffs statt einem einstellbaren Drehweg.
Der Geländegriff, serienmäßig montiert
GR003 ist der Griff, den Accossato mit seinen Gelände- und Motocross-orientierten Gasgriffen paart, getrennt von den Griffen GR001, GR002 und GR006, die im straßenorientierten MY-Sortiment verwendet werden, und der TC002 ist einer der einfachsten Wege dazu: ein CrossThrottle-Gehäuse mit bereits montiertem Griff, der Zug noch separat zu beschaffen. Fahrer, die einen Motocross- oder Enduro-Aufbau um Accossato-Teile herum planen, sind die wahrscheinlichsten Käufer dieser Kombination und wählen den TC002 gezielt, damit der Geländegriff bereits montiert ankommt statt als separates Teil zusammengebaut zu werden.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Der TC002 ist ein universeller Gasgriff und nicht für ein bestimmtes Motorrad gebaut. Die Montage setzt voraus, dass der Lenker eine für den Geländeeinsatz geeignete Standardklemmung aufnimmt, danach wird ein kompatibler Accossato-Zug separat beschafft, da keiner in diesem Listing enthalten ist. Käufer, die bereits an anderer Stelle einen GR003-Griff fahren oder lieber einen eigenen montieren, greifen eher zum griff-losen TC001, der dadurch günstiger ausfällt. Unsere Garage ordnet ihn ausschließlich Zweitakt-Motocross- und Enduromaschinen zu, die einzelnen Motorräder stehen im Reiter Fitment.
Straßenzulassung
Für den TC002 ist von Accossato keine ABE oder Teilezertifizierung dokumentiert; die Zulassungsvorschriften hängen vom Land ab, daher vor dem Straßeneinsatz prüfen. Der Gasgriff muss von selbst in die Leerlaufstellung zurückkehren, sobald der Griff losgelassen wird; das nach der Montage und vor der Fahrt prüfen.
