Wenn eine Panigale 1199 aufhört, ein Straßenmotorrad zu sein, folgt der Umbau einem vertrauten Muster: Spiegel und Kennzeichen kommen ab, die Rennverkleidung kommt dran, und die Bedienelemente werden eines nach dem anderen unter die Lupe genommen. Der Vorderradbremshebel steht meist auf dieser Liste. Accossatos LV013 ist ein klappbarer, einstellbarer Bremshebel für die Panigale 1199 von 2012 bis 2015, der an den originalen Bremszylinder passt, sodass der Rest der Vorderradbremse so bleiben kann, wie Ducati ihn gebaut hat.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Zweifarbig und zweiteilig wird der LV013 aus Aluminium gefräst und eloxiert: Eine schwarze Basis um den Drehpunkt trägt den Griffweiteneinsteller, und über ein Gelenk ist ein Hebelblatt mit ihr verbunden. Das Blatt lässt sich in jeder von acht Farben bestellen, von Rot und Orange bis Titan und Silber. An einer Panigale 1199 im Renntrimm ist die Wahl zwischen dem RST-Blatt mit Erleichterungsaussparung und dem geschlossenen NRST-Blatt weitgehend Geschmackssache, da der Gewichtsunterschied gering ist.
Die 1199 für die Rennstrecke abrüsten
Eine Rennverkleidung verändert mehr als das Aussehen einer Panigale 1199. Sind die Straßenverkleidungsteile ab und die Rennverkleidung montiert, wird das Motorrad auf den Tag vorbereitet, an dem es auf der Seite landet, und jedes Teil, das absteht, wird ein zweites Mal begutachtet. Hebel stehen weiter ab als fast alles andere, und ein abgebrochener Bremshebel im Kiesbett kann ein Rennwochenende beenden, in das viel Zeit und Geld geflossen ist.
Deshalb finden sich Klapphebel an so vielen Rennstreckenumbauten. Schlägt der LV013 auf den Boden, kann sein Blatt am Gelenk wegklappen, was seine Chancen gegenüber einem Hebel verbessert, der nicht nachgeben kann. Manche Fahrer montieren zusätzlich einen Hebelschutz und Sturzpads an den Lenkerenden; was auch immer Sie anbauen, nichts davon garantiert ein Ergebnis, aber jedes Teil verschiebt die Chancen ein wenig. Bewahren Sie den Originalhebel in einem beschrifteten Beutel auf, damit die Panigale 1199 wieder in den Straßenzustand zurückversetzt werden kann, falls sie einmal verkauft oder wieder zugelassen wird.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Laut Accossato passt der Hebel an die Panigale 1199 von 2012 bis 2015 und deckt neben dem Standardmodell auch US- und brasilianische Versionen ab. Der LV013 ersetzt den originalen Vorderradbremshebel. Sein Partner auf der Kupplungsseite ist der LV015, und der RA002 bietet den Bremshebel noch einmal mit Fernversteller an; beide sind für 2012 bis 2015 gelistet.
Straßenzulassung
Für diesen Hebel ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert, was zu seinem Zweck passt: Er wird für die Rennstrecke verkauft.
