Viele Panigale V4 sind inzwischen bei ihrem zweiten oder dritten Besitzer, und jeder Besitzer hinterlässt Spuren im Cockpit: einen Hebel, der auf andere Hände eingestellt ist, ein Blatt mit Kratzern von einem Umfaller, eine Farbe nach dem Geschmack eines anderen. Den Bremshebel zu tauschen, ist einer der einfachsten Wege, ein solches Motorrad zu Ihrem eigenen zu machen. Der Accossato EDF099 ist für die Panigale V4 von 2018 bis 2024 gelistet, passt an den originalen Bremszylinder und lässt Sie den Abstand zum Griff auf Ihre eigenen Finger einstellen.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der EDF099 beginnt als massiver Aluminiumrohling, der auf CNC-Maschinen gefräst und anschließend eloxiert wird. Seine Nabe, in der Drehpunkt und Griffweiten-Einsteller untergebracht sind, ist immer schwarz, das Blatt gibt es in Schwarz, Blau, Rot, Orange, Gold, Silber oder Grün. Das Blatt verläuft starr und ohne jedes Gelenk von der Nabe bis zur Spitze. Mit dem Einbau verschwinden auch die Schrammen und Macken, die das Originalteil einer gebrauchten Panigale V4 über die Jahre gesammelt haben mag, und weil die neue Farbe eloxiert statt lackiert ist, gibt es keine Beschichtung, die auf dieselbe Weise abplatzen könnte.
Die Einstellungen eines anderen
Wenn Sie eine gebrauchte V4 kaufen, hat der Vorbesitzer die Hebelposition für seine Hände und Handschuhe gewählt, falls er sie überhaupt gewählt hat. Setzen Sie sich vor der ersten Fahrt in Ihrer üblichen Ausrüstung auf das Motorrad und sehen Sie nach, wo das Blatt Ihre Finger trifft. Beim EDF099 bewegt der Einsteller nahe am Drehpunkt das Blatt heran oder weiter nach außen, bis der erste Kontakt dort liegt, wo Ihre Finger natürlich ruhen. Das ist auch ein guter Moment, den Bremszylinder auf Spuren eines früheren Sturzes zu untersuchen und die Bremsflüssigkeit prüfen zu lassen, denn ihre Vorgeschichte kennen Sie nicht. Ein neuer Hebel in einer selbst gewählten Farbe ist eine kleine Veränderung, aber eine, die Sie jedes Mal sehen, wenn Sie das Bein über das Motorrad schwingen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Der EDF099 trägt Accossatos Referenz V4 998 und ist für die Panigale V4 von 2018 bis 2024 gelistet. Für 2018 bis 2020 führt Accossato außerdem einen zweiten Bremshebel, den EDF011, unter einer Referenz V4 1100. Besitzer früher Maschinen sollten deshalb beide Produktfotos mit ihrem Originalhebel vergleichen. Der ESH011 ist der Accossato-Kupplungshebel für die V4 von 2018 bis 2020.
Straßenzulassung
Für diesen Hebel ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert, er ist für das Fahren auf der Rennstrecke bestimmt.
