Eine Multistrada V2S ist ein Motorrad, das viele Besitzer das ganze Jahr über fahren, und ein Winter auf dem Motorrad bedeutet Salz auf den Straßen. Aufgewirbeltes Salzwasser gelangt überallhin, auch an den Lenker, wo es sich um Hebel, Schalter und Bremszylinder legt. Manche Materialien kommen damit besser zurecht als andere. Der Accossato EDF099 ist ein eloxierter Aluminium-Bremshebel für die Multistrada V2S, aufgeführt von 2022 bis 2024. Er wird auf CNC-Maschinen gefräst, seine Griffweite lässt sich einstellen, und das Blatt gibt es in drei Längen und sieben Farben.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Aluminium rostet nicht, doch blankes Aluminium kann korrodieren, vor allem dort, wo Salzwasser stehen bleibt. Das Eloxieren schützt den EDF099, indem es seine Oberfläche in eine geschlossene Oxidschicht umwandelt, die zugleich die Farbe des Blatts trägt. Die Nabe ist schwarz eloxiert. Weil es keinen Lack gibt, der reißen könnte, und kein Gelenk, in dem sich Feuchtigkeit fängt, gibt es kaum Stellen, an denen Korrosion beginnen könnte, und der Hebel ist ein einziges gefrästes Stück von der Nabe bis zur Spitze.
Streusalz und die Wintermonate
Wenn Sie durch den Winter fahren, spülen Sie den Lenkerbereich nach Fahrten auf salzigen Straßen mit klarem Wasser ab und trocknen ihn, statt das Salz bis zum Frühjahr einwirken zu lassen. Achten Sie auf den Drehpunkt und den Spalt um den Einsteller, wo sich Schmutz und Salz zuerst sammeln. Ein Tropfen leichtes Schmiermittel auf dem Drehpunkt, sobald der Hebel trocken ist, hält ihn leichtgängig.
Wird die Multistrada V2S stattdessen eingewintert, reinigen Sie sie vor dem Einlagern, nicht danach. Salz, das auf dem Motorrad bleibt, arbeitet über die kalten Monate weiter, während ein sauberes, trockenes Motorrad an einem trockenen Ort unverändert auf den Frühling wartet. Prüfen Sie zu Saisonbeginn vor der ersten Fahrt die Griffweite: Die Handschuhe, die Sie im März tragen, sind meist dicker als die vom September, und der Hebel möchte vielleicht eine Stufe weiter nach außen. Prüfen Sie außerdem, ob der Hebel nach der Standzeit sauber zurückkehrt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den EDF099 für die Multistrada V2S, eingetragen als 950 V2 S, und dieses Produkt deckt die Motorräder von 2022 bis 2024 ab. Die neue Generation der Multistrada V2, die Ducati für 2025 eingeführt hat, gehört nicht zu diesem Eintrag. Einen Kupplungshebel führt Accossato für dieses Modell nicht.
Straßenzulassung
Für den EDF099 gibt es keine dokumentierte deutsche ABE, deshalb verkaufen wir ihn für den Einsatz auf der Rennstrecke.
