An jeder Tankstelle wird darüber gestritten: Bremst man mit zwei Fingern oder mit der ganzen Hand? Auf einer Multistrada 1260 S haben beide Antworten ihre Anhänger, und jede ist für jemanden die richtige. Accossato hat für beide eine Lösung. Der EDF099 ist ein CNC-gefräster Bremshebel für die Multistrada 1260 S von 2018 bis 2020 und wird in drei Längen gefertigt, vom kurzen Blatt für zwei Finger bis zum langen mit Platz für vier. Die Griffweite ist einstellbar, und das Blatt wird in einer von sieben Farben eloxiert.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato fräst jeden EDF099 aus Aluminium und eloxiert ihn danach, die Nabe in Schwarz und das Blatt in der Farbe, die Sie bestellen. Durch das Fräsen teilen sich die drei Längen dieselbe Geometrie von Nabe und Drehpunkt, während das Blatt einfach früher oder später endet. Keine der Versionen hat ein Klappgelenk; welche Länge Sie auch wählen, es ist ein einziges starres Stück, das den Zug Ihrer Finger direkt an den Bremszylinder weitergibt.
Zwei Finger oder vier
Das Bremsen mit zwei Fingern kommt von der Rennstrecke. Zeige- und Mittelfinger bedienen den Hebel, während Ring- und kleiner Finger den Griff umschließen und das Gas unter Kontrolle halten. Das erlaubt eine sehr feine Dosierung, und moderne Vorderradbremsen brauchen so wenig Kraft, dass zwei Finger für die meisten Bremsungen genügen. Der kurze EDF099 ist genau dafür geformt und wird in Blau, Grün, Orange, Gold und Silber gefertigt.
Das Bremsen mit vier Fingern hat seine eigene Logik. Verteilt sich die Kraft auf die ganze Hand, arbeitet jeder Finger weniger, was viele Fahrer an langen Tagen auf einer Multistrada 1260 S entspannter und bei einer plötzlichen Bremsung beruhigender finden. Das lange Blatt bietet vier Fingern Platz und etwas zusätzliche Hebelwirkung an der Spitze; es ist in Blau, Grün, Orange und Gold erhältlich. Zwischen beiden liegt das Standardblatt, erhältlich in allen sieben Farben, passend für Fahrer, die je nach Straße zwischen den Stilen wechseln. Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den EDF099 für die Multistrada 1260 S von 2018 bis 2020, einschließlich der S Pikes Peak derselben Jahre. Er ersetzt den originalen Handbremshebel. Einen Kupplungshebel hat Accossato für dieses Modell nicht auf der Liste.
Straßenzulassung
Eine deutsche ABE ist für diesen Hebel nicht dokumentiert; der EDF099 wird deshalb für den Einsatz auf der Rennstrecke verkauft.
