EXR ist neu für 2026 und ersetzt die EXC Endurance, statt neben ihr zu stehen. ZCOOs Kernaussage dazu ist konkret und trifft eine Panigale V4 genau: bis zu zwanzig Prozent mehr Bremskraft in der zweiten Bremsphase. Das ist der Teil der Bremszone, in dem ein V4-Fahrer tatsächlich lebt - nicht der erste Zugriff aus 290 km/h, sondern die lange Mitte, in der die Maschine noch Tempo abbaut, die Scheibe längst glüht und der Vorderreifen gleichzeitig einlenken soll.
Wichtigste Merkmale
- Bis zu 20 Prozent mehr Bremskraft in der zweiten Bremsphase - dort, wo ein 1.103-cm³-V4 den größten Teil seiner Bremszone verbringt
- Neue Legierung der Trägerplatte, zusammen mit der Mischung entwickelt statt übernommen
- Erstanbiss auf dem Niveau der auslaufenden EXC Endurance, aber mit progressiverem Aufbau - die Dosierbarkeit, die EXC geopfert hatte, kommt zurück
- Bessere Wirkung im Kalten als EXC und höhere Stabilität bei hoher Temperatur - weniger Runden, in denen man auf den Belag wartet
- Haltbarkeit gleich oder besser als EXC, die ihrerseits rund doppelt so lange hielt wie EX Race
- Gleiche B005-Form wie die EX-Race-Ausführung - ein Wechsel der Mischung, nicht der Geometrie; eine Packung je Sattel, zwei für die Doppelscheibe der Panigale
Aufbau und Materialqualität
Die sichtbare Änderung gegenüber der auslaufenden Mischung ist die Trägerplatte: ZCOO hat für EXR eine neue Legierung festgelegt und nicht die EXC-Platte weiterverwendet. Auf einer Panigale ist das nicht kosmetisch. Der Brembo-Monoblock weitet sich unter Spitzendruck auf, und eine Platte, die dabei nachgibt, verschiebt den Kontaktbereich genau dann auf die Belagkanten, wenn der Fahrer am meisten verlangt. Der Reibbelag bleibt keramisch gesintert und wird weiterhin von der Okada Corporation in Japan gefertigt, auf derselben B005-Form wie der EX-Race-Belag.
Wirkung und Gefühl
Die Wahl zwischen EX Race und EXR läuft auf einer Panigale V4 darauf hinaus, was Sie zurückhaben wollen. EX Race ist die kontrollorientierte Mischung: gemäßigter Erstanbiss, außergewöhnlich flache Kurve, schonend zur Scheibe. EXR nimmt den härteren Biss, für den EXC Endurance bekannt war, baut die Progression darum herum neu auf und legt dort Kraft nach, wo ein Superbike sie am dringendsten braucht. Wenn Sie spät bremsen und den Hebel tief in die Kurve mitnehmen, ist EXR die Mischung, die Ihren Bremspunkt verschiebt. Wenn Ihnen ein Hebel wichtiger ist, der Sie nie überrascht, bleiben Sie bei EX.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Von ZCOO gelistet für die Ducati Panigale V4 von 2018 bis 2024 mit dem 1.103-cm³-Motor, am Brembo-Monoblocksattel. Nur Vorderachse. EXR ist seit Anfang September 2026 lieferbar; ein technisches Datenblatt zur Mischung hat ZCOO über die hier genannten Eigenschaften hinaus nicht veröffentlicht.
Straßenzulassung
Für diesen Belag ist keine ECE-R90-Genehmigung dokumentiert. Sie steht weder im ZCOO-Katalog noch auf der Seite des europäischen Distributors, und auf den uns vorliegenden Verpackungsdaten ist keine Genehmigungsnummer angegeben. ZCOO selbst beschreibt die Mischung als gleichermaßen für Renn- und Straßenmaschinen geeignet – das ist eine Beschreibung der Mischung und keine Typgenehmigung. Solange der Distributor keine Genehmigung schriftlich bestätigt, behandeln Sie den Belag als Renn- und Rennstreckenteil: In Deutschland darf ein Ersatzbremsbelag ohne ECE-R90-Genehmigung nicht an einem im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr genutzten Motorrad verbaut werden.
