Die alte EXC-Endurance-Mischung war für eine 183 kg leichte Mittelklasse nie die naheliegende Wahl. Sie war für 24-Stunden-Rennen gebaut, sie wollte Wärme, bevor sie ihr Bestes gab, und sie verlangte der Scheibe dafür einiges ab. Die RS 660 liefert diese Wärme selten: Die Scheiben sind leicht, das Motorrad ist leicht, und auf der Straße werden sie womöglich nie richtig warm. EXR, ab 2026 die Nachfolgerin, ist im Kalten ausdrücklich besser - und genau diese eine Änderung macht eine Endurance-Mischung auf dieser Maschine überhaupt sinnvoll.
Wichtigste Merkmale

- Haltbarkeit gleich oder besser als EXC, der höhere Preis kauft also auch Strecke
- Gleiche B007-Form wie die EX-Race-Ausführung - 85,0 × 51,0 mm, 8,0 mm dick; eine Packung je Sattel, zwei für die Doppelscheibe
Aufbau und Materialqualität
EXR behält den keramisch gesinterten Reibbelag und die japanische Fertigung, die das Programm ausmachen, sitzt aber auf einer neu festgelegten Trägerplattenlegierung. Die Belagform bleibt B007, am Einbau ändert sich also nichts: dieselbe Reibfläche von 85,0 × 51,0 mm, dieselben 8,0 mm Dicke, dasselbe Fenster im Radialsattel. Was sich ändert, steckt vollständig in der Mischung und in der Platte dahinter.
Wirkung und Gefühl
Eine RS 660 wird über die Einfahrgeschwindigkeit gefahren, und die nützliche Frage lautet, wie früh der Belag zu arbeiten beginnt. EX Race beantwortet sie mit einer weichen, sofort verfügbaren Mischung. EXC beantwortete sie für dieses Motorrad schlecht - stark, sobald heiß, davor unbestimmt. EXR ist ZCOOs Korrektur: Biss auf EXC-Niveau, besseres Verhalten im Kalten und eine Progressionskurve, die den Druck abbauen statt in einer Stufe lösen lässt. Auf einer Mittelklasse geht es bei den zwanzig Prozent weniger um den Bremsweg als darum, wie sicher man die Bremse beim Einlenken mitnehmen kann.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Von ZCOO gelistet für die Aprilia RS 660 von 2020 bis 2026. Dieselbe B007-Form deckt auch die Tuono 660 sowie RS 660 Trofeo und Extrem ab. Nur Vorderachse. EXR kam Anfang September 2026 auf den Markt; ZCOO hat über die hier genannten Eigenschaften hinaus kein Datenblatt veröffentlicht.
Straßenzulassung
Für diesen Belag ist keine ECE-R90-Genehmigung dokumentiert. Sie steht weder im ZCOO-Katalog noch auf der Seite des europäischen Distributors, und auf den uns vorliegenden Verpackungsdaten ist keine Genehmigungsnummer angegeben. ZCOO selbst beschreibt die Mischung als gleichermaßen für Renn- und Straßenmaschinen geeignet – das ist eine Beschreibung der Mischung und keine Typgenehmigung. Solange der Distributor keine Genehmigung schriftlich bestätigt, behandeln Sie den Belag als Renn- und Rennstreckenteil: In Deutschland darf ein Ersatzbremsbelag ohne ECE-R90-Genehmigung nicht an einem im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr genutzten Motorrad verbaut werden.
