Dieses Element kaufen Sie in dem vollen Wissen, worauf Sie verzichten. Die Nenndurchflussrate des P14 liegt bei 1.800 l/m²/sek; das gewebte Element für denselben Luftfilterkasten ist mit 5.050 angegeben. Das ist etwa ein Drittel, vom Hersteller offen ausgewiesen statt verschwiegen, und genau das ist der Sinn der Sache, kein Konstruktionsfehler. Im Gegenzug sinkt die Klassifizierung von 80 auf 14 Mikron. Das PM210P14 ist eine ganz bewusst in eine Richtung getroffene Entscheidung: weniger Luft je Flächeneinheit Gewebe, dafür deutlich weniger von allem anderen.

Eine Drosselung mit Absicht kaufen
Fast alles, was für eine Ansaugung verkauft wird, wird mit dem Versprechen weniger Widerstand verkauft. Dies ist die Ausnahme, und das verdient eine klare Beschreibung. An einem feineren Medium findet keine zusätzliche Luft ihren Weg; es gibt bewusst etwas Durchfluss zurück, um mehr aus dem Ansaugtrakt herauszuhalten. Dieser Tausch zahlt sich nur dort aus, wo tatsächlich etwas fernzuhalten ist – trockene Sommerstraßen, Schotter, Baustellen, eine lange Fahrt hinter anderem Verkehr – und dort, wo die Alternative ein Gewebe wäre, das Material durchlässt, das ein feines Vlies zurückgehalten hätte. Auf sauberen, befestigten Straßen ist das gewebte Element im selben Gehäuse die besser passende Wahl, und sich dafür zu entscheiden ist keine Verschlechterung.
Wo Ehrlichkeit in beide Richtungen gilt
Zwei Behauptungen werden über Elemente wie dieses aufgestellt, und beide müssen zurechtgerückt werden. Die erste lautet, ein Filter bringe Leistung. Das tut er nicht: Ein einsetzbares Element macht eine Serien-1200 nicht spürbar stärker, unabhängig davon, welches Medium im Rahmen sitzt. Die zweite lautet, ein feines Medium sei einfach ein besserer Filter ohne Nachteil, und der Durchflusswert widerlegt das eindeutig, direkt in der eigenen Herstellerdokumentation. Was Sie tatsächlich bekommen, ist eine große, trockene, wiederverwendbare Matte, die feines Material zurückhält, mit Luft entleert und wieder eingesetzt statt ersetzt wird.
Pflege und Reinigung
Das PM210P14 wird trocken gewartet, und die Richtung ist hier wichtiger als sonst irgendwo. Halten Sie die Luftleitung an die saubere Seite und arbeiten Sie nach außen, sodass die Beladung die Matte auf demselben Weg verlässt, auf dem sie eingedrungen ist, statt weiter in die Tiefe gedrückt zu werden. Ein fettiger Film löst sich unter handwarmem Wasser mit etwas mildem Reinigungsmittel, gespült, bis nichts mehr aus dem Material austritt. Das Trocknen erfolgt bei Umgebungstemperatur und ohne Eile, ohne Heißluftgebläse, ohne Heizkörper und ohne offene Flamme in der Nähe. Es wird trocken wieder eingesetzt, ohne dass irgendetwas aufgetragen wird. Das Wartungsblatt finden Sie im Downloads-Tab.
Passgenauigkeit & Kompatibilität
