Die meisten Teilenummern in dieser BMW-Liste gelten für eine ganze Familie. Eine Airbox, fünf oder acht Motorräder, ein Element, das so ausgelegt ist, dass es allen zugleich passt. Der PM278S gehört nicht dazu. Die Liste darunter enthält ein einziges Motorrad, die M 1000 RR der Baujahre 2025 und 2026, und endet dann. Kein Roadster-Geschwistermodell, kein verkleideter Tourer, kein früheres Modelljahr, das auf denselben Rahmen zurückgreift. Das gehört geklärt, bevor ein Wort über das Gewebe fällt, denn eine Liste mit einem einzigen Eintrag ändert, was man von dem Teil erwarten sollte.

Was ein Angebot für ein einziges Motorrad bedeutet
Es bedeutet, dass nichts in Einklang gebracht werden musste. Ein über eine Familie geteiltes Element antwortet auf die Schnittmenge zwischen mehreren Gehäusen; dieser Umriss, diese Tiefe und diese Dichtfläche mussten nur ein einziges Gehäuse erfüllen. Das Gewebe ist der Programmstandard: trockenes Polyester aus Fäden ab 22 Mikron aufwärts, siebend bei 80 Mikron und spezifiziert mit 5.050 l/m²/sek. Lesen Sie diese beiden Werte als ein Paar, das sich immer gegenläufig bewegt. Ein feineres Medium hält mehr zurück und lässt weniger durch, ein gröberes tut das Gegenteil. Es ist ein Tausch, niemals eine Rangfolge, und der P08 sitzt dort, wo sich Straßen- und Rennstreckeneinsatz überschneiden — genau die beiden Aufgaben, für die dieses Motorrad verkauft wird.
Der Teil des Versprechens, der wegfallen muss
Kein Einsatzfilter in einer Serien-Airbox macht eine Serien-M 1000 RR spürbar stärker, und jede Beschreibung, die anderes andeutet, verkauft das Falsche. Was bleibt, ist unspektakulär und real. Der Ansaugwiderstand startet niedriger und bleibt über das Intervall hinweg näher an seinem Ausgangswert, weil die etwa doppelte Fläche eine Saison an Schmutz dünner verteilt. Die Rückhaltung ist gemessen, nicht behauptet: 93,13 Prozent bei 100-Mikron-Partikeln hier, gegenüber 76,42 Prozent bei vierlagiger geölter Baumwolle im selben Vergleich.
Pflege und Reinigung
Beim PM278S erledigt Druckluft die Arbeit, von der sauberen Seite aus nach außen durch die Seite geblasen, die die Ladung gesammelt hat; von der schmutzigen Seite aus würden Sie diese Ladung nur tiefer ins Gewebe treiben. Wenn ein harter Sommer mehr hinterlässt, als Luft bewegen kann, erledigen lauwarmes Wasser und ein mildes Spülmittel den Rest. Lassen Sie ihn in bewegter Luft und in seinem eigenen Tempo trocknen. Nie ein Heißluftgebläse, nie eine offene Flamme, denn Hitze ist es, was einem solchen Element tatsächlich den Garaus macht. Passgenauigkeit & Kompatibilität
Ein Motorrad: die BMW M 1000 RR, gebaut 2025 und 2026, als direkter Ersatz in der unveränderten Serien-Airbox. Die frühere M 1000 RR von 2021 bis 2024 trägt eine andere Sprint-Filter-Nummer, sodass der Name auf dem Tank allein für die Bestellung nicht ausreicht; das Baujahr gehört zur Antwort dazu.
