Warum die Wand hier dicker ist
Jedes Rohr, das Spark zwischen zweiunddreißig und sechzig Millimetern führt, hat eine Wand von einem Millimeter. Dieses hier und das sechsundsiebziger am anderen Ende des Programms haben dickere.
Der Grund ist Steifigkeit. Ein Rohr widersteht dem Biegen proportional zur dritten Potenz seines Durchmessers, ein kleines Rohr ist bei gleicher Wand also dramatisch weicher als ein großes. Bei achtundzwanzig Millimetern würde ein Millimeter Edelstahl unter der Biegemaschine knicken und unter einem Stiefel eindellen; anderthalb tun das nicht.
Wofür es gedacht ist
Kleine Querschnitte. Ausgleichsrohre zwischen Krümmern, Verbindungsstücke an einer 125er oder einem kleinen Einzylinder, Entlüftungs- und Ablaufführungen und die kurzen Übergänge, die eine Einzelanfertigung braucht und kein Katalog verkauft.
In diesem Durchmesser ist es an etwas über 250 cm³ selten der Hauptgasweg. Es ist die Installation um die Installation herum.
Edelstahl schneiden und schweißen
Mit Trennscheibe oder Kaltsäge trennen, nicht mit einer Kappsäge für Baustahl — Kohlenstoffverschleppung an der Schnittfläche ist die häufigste Ursache für eine Edelstahlnaht, die ein Jahr später rostet.
WIG mit Edelstahl-Zusatz schweißen und innen formieren. Ohne Formiergas oxidiert die Wurzel, wird grobkörnig und reißt unter Wärmewechsel. An einem Auspuff ist das kein Schönheitsfehler.
AISI 304
Der austenitische Standard-Edelstahl: rund achtzehn Prozent Chrom, acht Prozent Nickel. Fast jeder hochwertige Auspuff besteht daraus, weil er Abgastemperatur ohne Verzunderung und Streusalz ohne Lochfraß aushält.
Er verfestigt sich beim Umformen, was zählt, wenn Sie biegen wollen: einmal biegen, bewusst, statt einen Bogen mehrfach nachzustellen.
Kein Installationsrohr
Dekor- und Sanitäredelstahl gleicher Nennweite ist nicht dasselbe Produkt. Ziehrohr wird mit gröberer Wandtoleranz gefertigt und ist häufig aus Band geschweißt, mit einer Innennaht, die nie entfernt wurde — ein Wulst, der durch die Bohrung läuft. An einem Auspuff ist dieser Wulst ein Strömungshindernis und ein Rissauslöser. Auspuffrohr wird ohne ihn gefertigt.
Ein halber Meter
Spark liefert diesen Artikel als 500-mm-Stück. Braucht ein Projekt mehr, bestellen Sie die entsprechende Stückzahl — es gibt keine Halblänge und keinen Zuschnitt, und zwei Stücke zu verbinden ist eine Naht mehr, als ein längeres Stück gebraucht hätte.
