Für einen kleinen Motor bemessen
Fünfunddreißig Millimeter ist der schmalere von Sparks zwei Force-Einsätzen, und er ist für die Maschinen gedacht, die die Preisliste nennt: eine R3, eine Ninja 400, alles in der 300er- bis 400er-Klasse. Bei Motoren dieser Größe würde ein 40-mm-Durchlass kaum etwas verengen, und der Einsatz täte nichts.
An einem größeren Motor wäre es andersherum — zu eng, und die Mitte litte.
Force, nicht Force Evo
Zwei verschiedene Dämpferfamilien mit ähnlichen Namen, und ihre Einsätze sind nicht austauschbar. Der Force ist Sparks geripptes Gehäuse aus Edelstahl und Titan; der Force Evo ist das neuere Titangehäuse mit Carbon-Endkappe. Der Evo nimmt stattdessen G9999 oder G99107.
Wer aus dem Gedächtnis bestellt statt vom Schalldämpfer aus, sollte genau hier zweimal hinsehen.
Offene Bauart
Ein glatter Durchlass statt einer gelochten Wand. Er kostet den Motor weniger als ein gelochter Einsatz gleichen Durchmessers und nimmt weniger Geräusch heraus — an einem 400er-Twin normalerweise der richtige Handel, denn diese Maschinen sind von Haus aus nicht laut.
Eine R3 oder eine Ninja 400
Spark nennt beide Maschinen zu diesem Artikel. Sie teilen eine Klasse, keine Plattform: kleine Parallel-Twins mit bescheidenem Auspuffvolumen, deren Besitzer am ehesten auf Strecken mit strenger Geräuschpolitik unterwegs sind.

Vom Austritt her, Schalldämpfer bleibt montiert, in ein paar Minuten. So oft herausnehmbar, wie Sie wollen — das ist der Sinn eines Trackday-Einsatzes.
Was er nicht ändert
Den Zulassungsstatus des Schalldämpfers. Ein Force-Racing-Gehäuse bleibt mit eingesetztem Stopfen ein Racing-Gehäuse, und ein homologiertes bleibt nur homologiert, wenn der von Spark gelieferte Einsatz der eingebaute ist.
